[/FONT][FONT=&quot]Place[/FONT][FONT=&quot]: 1st Floor, Rose Garden Tower, 170 Ngoc Khanh Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi[/FONT][FONT=&quot]

[FONT=&quot]15 minutes prior to the field trip, attendants came to The American Center (AC) and took all the security check needed to get into the AC. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]14:00, Ms. Cassie Brenn, an American citizen introduced the AC: books, DVDs, Ipads, computers, CNN channel, … that the AC had been providing. Before going to the next part of the event, many got small prizes from Cassie by answering her quiz.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Cassie then had an amazing speech about nicknames in the U.S. these days. According to her, if you knew someone go by the name of “Bob”, “Rob”, “Bert”… his real name would probably be “Robert”. Thanks to her talk, attendants knew how Americans stuck with some nicknames.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Volunteers tried to pick up nicknames themselves: (go from the left) Cassie chatty, Linh sweetie, Kitten, Stock, Stork and the final one was “man of steel”.[/FONT]​

[FONT=&quot]Attendants raised their hands to grab a chance of answering Cassie’s questions.[/FONT]​

[FONT=&quot]AC is an ideal learning corner for students and working people alike[/FONT]​

[FONT=&quot]On the face of on-and-off-rain outside, many students dicided to come to the AC with GALEC. That means the world to us.[/FONT]​
