Yeah, soccer and football in US are 2 different sports. As everyone knows, the most popular sport in US is football. But with us, Asian, football is nothing fun beside the violence.
Beside, king67 is not right when says tennis and golf are unpopular. Because maybe you did not play and pay attention of those 2 sports. Actually, they are really popular. Espescially for tennis, not only the professionals have the tennis tournament but also the amateur, advanced, any kind of players still have the tournaments almost every month to compete with other player. If you''''ve ever heard of the term "USTA" , it is the biggest association for every player in all the states to play tennis tournament.
But anyway, let''''s get back to soccer. In US, even the American team, there are not a lot of white. Most of them are mexican. If every weekend, you go to any public park, you will see a lot of mexican playing soccer. It''''s the same like vietnamese high school student usually play soccer when we get out of school.
Moreover, football in US is really popular. They pay million of million for the players.
Almost all the matches for World cup this year will show on ESPN2. Hope everyone will catch it.

Vậy là tui với bạn Hằng lên đường...huhu. Trời ạ, bữa nay lội bộ 15'' đi kiếm quán cafe, vô tới nơi thì Costa rica đã thua 2-1 rùi. Ngồi run như gà mắc đẻ ,vái trời cho Costa Rica đừng bị thua thêm trái nữa, mấy ông kẹ Đức cứ hãm thành hoài, cứ làm tui thót tim, run cẳng.
Hết hiệp 1, vẫn 2-1 mừng quá. Rùi bị Đức làm cho 1 trái nữa ...huhuhu...3-1, thôi rồi Lượm ơi. Mấy cha Rica đã kiểu này làm sao mà gỡ lại nỗi.Tan nát cõi lòng. Vậy mà trời không nỡ hại kẻ gian, cho Costa Rica vùng lên gỡ thêm bàn danh dự ở phút 73. Má ơi, em không tin nhưng đó là sự thật...hú hú.... Thế nhưng...thở dài...phát 87 1 cha nội Đức sút 1 cú như trời giáng, bay ra nguyên con rùa (nói như Kany) lọt bà nó vô lưới Costa Rica. Sút vậy có trời vô mà đỡ. Đúng là trời hại kẻ gian. Lần này đúng là trao thân cho tướng cướp thật rồi, Costa rica ơi là Costa rica....Dù sao cũng an ủi, thắng thua gì cũng được ăn cà rem

Germany 4 - 2 Costa Rica
First, I am disappointed of how the Germany played. The result should be 4-0 or at least 4-1, not 4-2 like the game turned out to be. I''ve seen the Costa Rican team played before. The USA beat them 4-1 in a WC-qualify match, so they are just a horrible team.
Yet the Germany could not capitalize on this, especially on the defensive end. On the 2nd goal by the Costa Rica, it was clearly a miscall by the referee. However, I blamed the German defense on that. Their off-side strategy just completely backfired on them. If they don''t make some quick changes, I''m sure they will lose the later matches against better teams.
Anyway, I still won the bet to TaoLao. I picked Germany and gave TaoLao 1.99 goals advantage. I beat him by the hair. Hehe. So guess what every SEC member?? Keep your stomach empty on a special day in August, because Tao_Lao will throw a all-you-can eat ice-cream party for everyone. After enjoying your treat, don''t forget to write me a thank-you note.

You got me wrong there buddy. What I meant is that tennis and golf are not popular among the whole world population. I hate golf but I did play tennis in high school and I watch most of the major Opens. (There will be a great match up on Sunday: Federer vs. Nadal in the French Open Final. Don''t miss that.)
If you follow "American football", especially college football, you will find out it''s a spectacular game. By the way, the MVP for this year Super Bowl was Hines Ward, a half-Korean. Dat Nguyen, 100% Vietnamese, plays linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys. So you can''t really say that American football is not the game for Asian people.

yeah, as far as I know. Dat Nguyen is the only one who is popular for the American football. Hopefully like you say, there will be more Asian people can beat up the other races in American football .
