SEC Member of the Month

We have "Employee of the Month" at work place. We have "Student of the Month" at school. Why can''t we have "SEC Member of the Month" in our box. This title will be presented to members who show overall quality of work and dedication to Saigon English Club. The award can be based on qualities such as leadership, responsibility, creativity, and enthusiasm.

Of course no award can be fulfilled without some worthy prizes. SEC Member of the Month will receive some privileges like:
- having the right to choose the background music
- having his/her picture on the front page
- having an unique title
- being a moderator for one day

Well, these are just few of my suggestions. You can add more ideas to make the rewards more appealling. The goal for this award program is to encourage SEC members to participate and contribute more to our club, help it to become an exciting and unforgettable community.

For this month, I would nominate ColdButCool for her tremendous effort in building SEC. Even though she is practically new in SEC, she already made a network of SEC friends. She is very active in our forum. A few days ago, CBC played an important role as an organizer for SEC online meeting which turned out to be very successful.

So, what do you guys think about this idea of choosing "SEC Member of the Month?" If you have a candidate in your mind, just post it here and we will decide if that member is qualified for the award.

Do you think that he/she will let you do so?
I just hope there are more members like CBC, King67, tao_lao to make SEC more interesting... You see, SEC is quite more attractive than English Club (english.ttvn) with all kinds of topics, but the reason is that it''s put at the top end category in TTVNOL, so not many people come here unless they need some help.
Anyway, for King, for his nice idea. I will pin this topic onto the top.

1. Who will choose " SEC member of the Month"
2. Who is in charge of giving final decision?
3. In a month, when will we know the result of " SEC members of the Month"

The awards:
- Receive 5 stars.
- Being interviewed by SEC reporter in 1 hour on Yahoo Messenger => will be more famous and popular in SEC.
- Being interviewed by SEC members on SEC in 1 week.
Regarding King''s suggestions of prizes, following are very good:

It''s come to the end of July!

I think we should dicuss all about things between member that we vote on this page.So after first week of the month, we collect ideas that has:" I vote for....". Then after that we will post one topic info about our sec month. This is just bit thinking so plz forgive me if I said somthing wrong.

These days when I entered to SEC, I have a bad feeling. After the offline meeting, online activities become slower... Just wait... Anyway, thanks for your idea and hope you will stand by SEC, as well as help us to contribute SEC better.
