Serie A clubs preparing for January transfer market

ROME, December 12 (DS) - The transfer market will open in January, and all Italian Serie A clubs have started to prepare for it. Many surprises are expected in January. For example, many are dissatisfied with the work of Juventus FC head coach Marcello Lippi. Club president Vittorio Chiusano has announced that the club count on new acquisitions. First of all they want to acquire Cristiano Doni. Juventus need him too much because the team lack for fantasy. But player's side Atalanta BC understand Doni's importance and are reluctant to sell him.
In their turn, Atalanta are keen to sign AC Fiorentina's Domenico Morfeo and agree to let Doni go instead of Morfeo. Juventus want Doni for the midfield, and in the attack line they need Roberto Muzzi. But Muzzi is likely to move either S.S. Lazio or Parma AC.
Many clubs, including AC Milan, are eager to sign the leading scorer of the Italian championship. Dario Hubner. But Piacenza doesn't agree to be deprived of his player. And club chairman Fabrizio Garilli prefers best players to money. They are interested in Venezia's Pippo Maniero. Milan are able to buy him and give the player to Piacenza for Hubner.
Lazio head coach Zaccheroni doesn't include Darko Kovacevic in his plans and counts on Crespo, Inzaghi and Lopez. Lazio are keen to sign Francesco Coco because Barcelona's midfielder is able to resolve Zaccheroni's problems in the midfield.
Milan think how to return Coco to Italy, particularly in Lazio, and acquire Kovacevic instead of him and a few billion lire.
