    Hi all,

I know many of us want to speak English fluently. However, an inherent defect of Vietnamese is the fear of speaking face to face that prevents us from improving our speaking skill. I am also not good at speaking English.

What should we do to solve our problem? I realize that if we can find out another way to speak English, then the fear of speaking English should be removed. If we are afraid of speaking face to face, why don?Tt we speak English anonymously? Speaking English online is the solution for us.

Therefore, I decided to create a chat room where we can speak English with our nicknames on Paltalk. I name the chatroom ?oSpeaking English for Vietnamese and others?, or ?oSEV? for short.

You can find the room by logging in Paltalk, going to Learning and Universities/Study Groups.

If you are persons having the determination to improve speaking skill, then feel free to join the chat room. Let''''''''s build the room together.

    - Schedule of the room:
Every Wednesday and Saturday from 21:00-23:00 (Vietnam?Ts time).
The room will be first open on Saturday, December 16, 2006.
    - Topics for discussion: no limitation.
However, the chat room give priority to topics on TOEFL test, experience of seeking scholarship and studying abroad, English idioms.
The Topic for discussion will be posted on TTVNOL forum 1 day before the opening time.

Let?Ts enjoy speaking English together. I am happy to chat with you in our chat room.

Peter: Yeah. These days, everybody?Ts shopping at our competition, Honest Abê?Ts Furniture Store.
Bob: But everything in these costs an arm and a leg!
Peter: That is true. They do charge top dollar.
Bob: And their sales people are very strange. They really give me the creeps
Peter: Well, they must be doing something right over there. Meanwhile, we are about to go belly-up.
Bob: I am sorry to hear that. I thought my new advertising campaign would save
    the day.
Peter: Let?Ts face it : your advertising campaign was a real flop.
Bob: Well then I?Tll go back to the drawing board.
Peter: It is too late for that. You are fired!

Peter: Yes. I have already found a new manager. She is as sharp as a tack.
Bob: Can?Tt we even talk this over ? After all , I?Tve been working here
    for 10 years!
Peter: Therê?Ts no point in arguing, Bob. I?Tve already made up my mind.
Bob: Oh well, at least I won?Tt have to put up with your non-sense

Peter: Please leave before I lose my temper!
Hope to see you on our first session.
