Hm, take this sensitive topic a bit serious.
In Travel Marketing, I have been studying about some models of Travel products, one among them is the model named 4S.
4S: Sea, Sand, Sun and ***. It''s international standard. Actually, ***''s changed in Vietnam into ''Shop''. So the 4S model turned to be silly.
Look at Thailand, Singapore, japan,... They are Asean, but they want to make a profit through Tourism, and 4S is an ideal model. Why can''t we do business better as we are richer in natural resource?
Anyway, legal or illegal, *** is still a basic human instinct. It''s too crazy to commercialise it, but we can''t deny its existence. So, in case of forbidding, the government should control it in a certain limit.
    That''s it.

I agree with you FJX. By accepting prostitution, the government can
    1) Protect our ***ual workers: increase their income, working con***ions and services (to serve our society better)
    2) Collect tax--> earn money to do something else useful such as building more schools.
    3) Control AIDS and other ***ual deseases.
I dun like the attitute of our society to people in ***ual services. They also serve our society, cure people illnesses (especially men). They are real doctors. Why do people just pay respect to medicine doctors but not to them?
    What do you think?

This is morally and politically unacceptable. What is possible is to implicitly turn the green light on prostitution. FJX seems to be eager on the prospect of making money out of legitimized prostitution. But I doubt if any country could growth fast due only to *** industry.

How moral our politic system is that everybody knows. It ''s immoral and inhuman . Just thank to our people ''s human nature, we still feel being human. You go out streets you know how kind poeple are. You meet our civil servants you know how moral they are. Even though no country ever growth fast due to only *** industry it has not allowed the industry harm the society by not properly controlling. By denying *** industry , you harm your society.

Should prostitution be legalized in Vietnam? This is a big issue and definitely not easy to solve. Some people say yes, some say no. Well, I stand between them. Actually, to answer this kind of question we should divide it into two parts, one of which is: "Should prostitution be legalized?" and the other one is: ?oShould it be legalized in Vietnam?".
For the first part, my answer is yes. First of all, you need to know what we should consider when making laws. Definitely laws are not created based on my point of view or your point of view. They must be created based on social view. So when it comes to law, you have to be objective and those subjective opinions should not be concerned. Therefore, we should put aside the moral issue when deciding whether we should consider prostitution legitimate. Then you may ask me: "What should we consider when it comes to this issue?". Well the answer is simple:? Social benefits." We should consider if we allow prostitution to be legitimate, does it brings more benefits to human or not? To answer this question, we have to take a look back at the way many countries have been using to prevent prostitution from spreading. They forbid it. Has any of them succeeded? Definitely no. The more people try to forbid it, the more it metamorphoses itself. In the old time, we had whorehouses. Nowadays, not only do we have whorehouse which we often call "beer om", we have "cafe om", "massage om", "swimming om", etc... as well.(For those who are not familiar with the word "om", by using "om" I mean "having ***") The more it metamorphoses itself the harder for us to control it. The harder to control it the more social diseases it brings about. So what should we do? We have to control it in a different way. We have to pass laws to allow prostitution to be legitimate. What exactly are that laws? Well, I am not a lawyer so I cannot provide you with the details. To be brief, we allow prostitutes to do their business but only in certain areas, they must not go out of those areas to offer others to pay for having *** with them. Must those prostitutes pay taxes? It is up to the each country?Ts policy. Based on current social situation and living standard, each government can have their own decision. Anyway, for me, it does not matter whether they should pay taxes or not, the thing that does matter here is: by legalizing prostitution we can control it better than forbidding it and letting it metamorphose itself into many different forms. At this point, some of you may come up with this question: ?oIf you say so then why don''''t we legalize drug using and dealing?" Well, you get me wrong. Drug dealing is completely different from prostitution. While prostitution does no harm to society if you have some methods(like using condom) to protect yourself and your ***mates, drug using and dealing destroy the whole human generation and you have no way stop it from harming the society. As I have said before, when it comes to law, what you should consider is benefits of human being and whether that law is reasonable or not.
Now we come to the second part. If what I have said above is right then why do we need this second part? I will answer you right away: ?oWe should legalize prostitution in Vietnam but NOT NOW." As you can see, our country is still a developing country which means we still have a lot of things to do and a lot of issues to resolve. We cannot compare our country with those developed countries like French, Holland, Singapore, in which prostitution is considered legitimate. Their society are more stable, their citizens are more informed about the law, their law systems are more strict and complete than ours, which results in the fact that more people from those countries abide by the law, and less jobs the police have to do. Let me put it this way, when you are not yet capable of controlling something it is always better to forbid it completely.
To conclude, what I want to say from the beginning till now is: We should make prostitution legitimate so that we can control it better but only when we think we are capable of controlling it, should we make it legitimate. Well, I think that is enough for my opinion about the prostitution-legalization-should-or-should-not issue, let me say something more about my attitude toward prostitution or you will get me wrong. I will make it short so that you will no longer have to sit down under my lousy English . I am totally against prostitution and I have no intention of having *** with prostitutes. The reasons are simple, I do not pay to have *** with women, I do not pay to defame myself, I do not pay to encourage those women to defame themselves and I do not pay to betray my fiancée.

What a rare man in this society! I can''t agree more!
But legalising it is not really a bad thing! ''Cos some countries did, and none has denied its existence. :-"
