English is very complicated. If you follow Toelf rule, then perhaps the outcome is just only one answer. But when it comes to reality, you'll see there are hella lot of ways to cope with those sentences

I do agree with you, Sorority_Girl. But what is the rule for this test ? A test without rule will lead to a lot of answers. I think the grader will have to stay up all night to grade the test.

Pikachulove, you seem don't quite understand what i said, never mind. I also agree with you, we need rules to play this part but as long as we still give out the right answers, it's fine
Think about this, if one cannot handle various answer (definitely all the correct ones), how come they are able to hold this kind of test.

    Sororyti_Girl,
I clearly understand what you said. The grader is just my joke. Don't get mad !
Yes, it's fine to have many right answers. Are you happy yet ? By the way your pic, the little old guy with white hair and big eyes, looks so scarry to me .
Don't get mad at me again. I come for fun and learning not for trouble.

About my pic, you can call him MrBlonde, hope he didn't scare the hell out of you. He's way too ugly but he's cute in a way, though,,,hehehe.

It's good to know you are not mad. Good girl !
Yes, I am here for learning. I tried hard, learned a lot everytime I reply to you. MrBlonde looks so scary to me but not too much. Anyway, Sorority_Girl , if you don't mind could I express my feeling here one more time ?
Your english is beautifull, sounds like from an educated person. But it will perfect if you don't drop " the Hell" into the sentence. That word spoiled the beauty of your language, sounds like much more street language.
He...he.... No hard feeling OK .

Thanks pikachu, i got another post for you from other topic. Hope you like it
Well, in this case, "hell" doesn't mean any thing bad. It only maximizes the meaning of the sentence, it implies that "Mr Blonde difinitely made you really scared" (rất là sợ đó)
The phrase would be spoiled if I used the word "****" instead of "hell",,,hehehe. Sorry, no harass meaning here

ANSWER KEY FOR THE 1ST TEST :
1.Coal is the world's most abundant fossil fuel.
    2. On the 19th century frontier , the school, along with the church and the jail, way a key public building in the community.
    3. It has changed a lot in Saigon since you left
( In speaking, you can say " SG has changed a lot....., but in writing , you shouldn't use that structure , Saigon itself can't change , we have to use impersonal " It " to write formally.)
Most of you had a correct answers for the question 1 & 2 , but no one had a completely correct reply. What a pity !
