The Cambridge Grammar of The Language of English

Hi everyone in this great box

It has been a quite long time that i have not used English to speak and to write. I suppose it has been approximately two years. As the result of that, I find now quite embarrassed to drop some lines here in this language.

The reason why I do not use English anymore is that I am now in France where the language of French is officially used everywhere. To be honest , the French doesn''t pay absolutely more attention on learning English than that of learning the others of the european countries which seem much more attractive to them, for instance Spanish, Italian and Germany.

The high shool boys and girls here have a large disposal to choose a foreign language to learn and they have to learn normally 2 foreign languages. It would not be a surprise to see that many of them don''t choose English.

So, I am now a student of an university in France who have a great interest in the language althought i am not specialized to be a linguist or someone esle of this kind.

In wish of sharing some stuffs here, I allow myself to introduce to those who have difficulties in learning the grammar of English as well as those who want to deepen and to re-systematize their knowledge this great book mentioned as the header of this post. Hope it will help you out somehow

I''ll be back in my clases in october and because of the narrowness of free time *****rf on the Net, especially on this forum. I''ll post progressively the topics of this book.

Since this a very huge hard-cover book (approximately 2000 pages). I can not type it out and have to make use of my scanner, but it would be a pity for this moment that i don''t have any software to convert the scanned images into PDF files. So, I ask everybody here for an apology.
