Anyone up for some great Linkin Park prizes? We''re starting a new program to reward LPU members for what you all do best: telling people about your favorite band, Linkin Park, and their official fan club, the LP Underground! It''s the new and improved LPU Referral Program.

The LPU Referral Program no longer puts you in head-to-head competition with your fellow members because now everyone who participates can be rewarded. And not only are you eligible to win a single prize...you can win up to eleven different prizes throughout the year!

So here''s how it works...Basically, whenever you tell someone new about the LPU and get them to sign up as a member, and they put your LPU username as their referrer, you will get a referral point. One new member = one referral point. The more points you get, the more prizes you can win. Speaking of which...

1 referral - Exclusive LPU sticker
3 referrals - A LPU CD (1.0 or 2.0 as selected by LPU)
5 referrals - A LPU beanie hat
10 referrals - LP vinyl (Hybrid Theory, Reanimation or Meteora album, as selected by LPU)
20 referrals - LPU hooded sweatshirt
30 referrals - Frame LP Vinyl signed and personalized by the band (Hybrid Theory, Reanimation or Meteora album, as selected by LPU)
50 referrals - Guitar signed and personalized by the band
75 referrals - LP plaque signed and personalized by the band
100 referrals - Interview with your favorite band member on the phone and have the conversation posted to LPU website.
200 referrals - 2 tickets to an LP show. Play video games with the band before the show.
350 referrals - A trip for two to a Linkin Park show. Get flown to the show, stay in a hotel, meet the band and get the chance to watch the show from the stage!

The question now is, how do you get started? Start spreading the word about the LP Underground both online and offline. To promote online, use your personal referral link along with banners and AIM icons to make sure that your username is automatically inserted into the registration form for all new people that sign up for the fan club through your link. This is what your link should look like:

Be sure to replace the "LPUusername" part of the link with your own LPU username to personalize it. This will make sure that you alone are receiving the cre*** of the referral. To promote offline, simply tell people about the LPU by word of mouth or by passing out LPU fliers and making sure they know to put your LPU username into the Referral section of the online form or writing it on their mail-in form.
