India, S.Korea to exercise in July
27 March 2006: With a chance of future power projection in the Asia-Pacific region, India has agreed for its air force and navy to exercise jointly with South Korean forces at a Pacific base in July.
Both countries have stressed on high level military cooperation in the last three years, signing several agreements, and in the past months, South Korea has become growingly aware of India?Ts huge military capabilities, and the July exercises stem from there.
Officials and diplomats said a defence ministry delegation would visit South Korea shortly to finalise the joint exercises.
