Interleaved Modes

near-real time, providing pilot and aircrew
with unprecedented situational awareness
and tactical flexibility.
Raytheon AESAs continue scanning while
capturing ground imagery and communicating
with other aircraft, and can simultaneously
guide multiple weapons to multiple targets
widely spaced in azimuth, elevation, and
range. A unique built-in resource manager
automatically schedules tasks to optimize
radar functions and minimize aircrew
workload.

Phù bảo F18 dùng AN/APG-63 à??? Đúng là cái tín ngưỡng nó cũng ảnh hưởng tới phân hệ lô dích ghê người, các bác nhỉ!

Cho sớt lại, nói lại xem nhá! Đố phù biết AESA cho F18 tên là gì, giờ đang trong tình trạng thế nào đấy[][][]

Thưa với Phù là do bỏ qua Pesa tiến thẳng lên AESA, nên giờ đa phần AESA của mèo đều là cao biền dậy non, chức năng lởm khởm hết, vì đang đi dò bug trong thuật toán

chương trình trọng tâm cho F22 mãi AESA còn chưa SAR nổi, đang nằm trên testbed kia kìa, chương trình AESA của cả F15 và F18 còn khuya mới trang bị đại trà, nhé

Lại người ta chết không duy bởi súng. APG-63 và APG-79 dùng chung nhiều bộ bphận và cùng chung Cty phát triển cho chức năng đa năng.

Tests of AMRAAM and JDAM

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Oct. 31, 2005 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company's APG- 79
AESA radar continues to move smoothly through its development milestones
following the successful completion this month of multiple live firing tests
using inert AMRAAM and JDAM weapons.

Both AMRAAM (Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile) and JDAM (Joint Direct
Attack Munition) live fire tests were completed according to plan. Both
performed well within the operational specifications. These are critical
development milestones, as they test the end-to-end air-to-air missile delivery
sequence and end-to-end air-to-ground synthetic aperture (SAR) targeting
capabilities of the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet.

The APG-79 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar, built by Raytheon, equips new two-seat F/A-18F Super Hornets being fielded to Navy Fighter Attack Squadron 213 based at Oceana, Virginia.

"It will give you better Synthetic Aperture Radar [SAR] pictures," Goold says, referring to the APG-79's ability to map the ground using a high-resolution radar "snapshot". The radar can then tag small moving ground targets and overlay them on the SAR map, giving the aircrew a useful reference as it moves to attack. This latter capability mimics that of the Air Force's sophisticated J-STARS surveillance aircraft.

Bên cạnh F-15E thì F-15C cũng đang được trang bị APG-63(v)3 AESA. Đúng là bọn Mỹ thì AESA nhiều như cám lợn. Trong khi đó toàn thế giới thì AESA hiếm hơn vàng.

Tháng 11 năm ngoái còn phải ký 17 triệu đô để sửa APG-79 đã lắp (17 trẹo đô để sửa cái gì thì không nói) Kế hoạch sửa xong vào 2012

cũng tháng 11 năm ngoái, có hợp đồng 52 triệu đô để mô đi phê 19 cái APG-79 nhằm mục đích ... lắp được lên F18E/F. Và tới 2013 kế hoạch là có tận 57 con F/A18 được lắp APG-79, chắc toàn bộ quân mèo của Phù có chừng ấy con F/A 18 thôi nhề

Xem nào, 57-19=38 con APG79 đã lắp, sửa mất 17 trẹo đô, vị chi gần nửa trẹo đô tiền sửa cho 1 con radar giá 2,5 trẹo đô, chắc là sửa mấy con vít thôi phải không Phù?

Và vẫn dùng lắc chảo APG 73 đại trà, vẫn mua phụ tùng đều đặn, Phù hết mơ ngủ chưa

Bao năm Kiên vẫn thế cứ đọc tí tẹo thông tin chưa rõ ràng đã phán như thánh. Thôi xem Raytheon nói nè kiên.

Raytheon revolutionary F/A-18 Active Electronically Scanned Array radar is moving into full rate production following U.S. Navy approval. The APG-79 production line is ramping up in anticipation of delivering a total of 437 systems for the Navy in coming years. "Moving into full rate production is a significant milestone for our APG- 79 AESA radar program," said Erv Grau, vice president for Raytheon's Tactical Airborne Systems business.

Raytheon delivered the first low rate production APG-79 radar set to Boeing Integrated Defense Systems in Saint Louis on January 13, 2005. Up to 415 radar sets are expected to follow the first one to outfit US Navy's Super Hornets beginning in September 2006.

On 28 June 2005, Boeing awarded Raytheon a $580 million multi year procurement contract for 190 APG-79 radars to equip the US Navy's F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft. The five year contract included low rate production lot 3 and 4 as well as full rate production lot 1 to 3 with final deliveries expected by 2010.

Northrop Grumman has successfully demonstrated the capability to generate high-resolution, in-flight synthetic aperture radar (SAR) maps using the AESA (active electronically scanned array) radar being produced for the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor fighter aircraft.

Facts: Similar to every other fighter in the U.S. inventory, there is a plan to regularly
incorporate upgrades into the F-22. F-22s in their current configuration are able to
dominate today’s battlefield and future upgrades are planned to ensure the F-22 remains
the world's most dominant fighter. F-22 Increment 3.1, which will begin entering the field
in late 2010, adds synthetic aperture radar (SAR) mode in the APG-77 radar, and a
capability to employ small diameter bomb (SDB). Increment 3.1 is in flight test today at
Edwards AFB, CA. Increment 3.2 is being planned and will add AIM-120D and AIM-9X
weapons along with ad***ional capabilities.
