Brazil could make Russian new-generation fighters under license
07/04/2009 12:33 MOSCOW, April 7 (RIA Novosti) - Russia may allow Brazil to produce its fifth-generation fighters under a license in the future, a senior Russian government official said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"We are discussing with the well-known Brazilian company Embraer the transfer of technology and the construction of facilities for the future licensed production of the aircraft, including the fifth-generation fighter," said Alexander Fomin, deputy director of the Federal Service on Military-Technical Cooperation.
Russia''s advanced multirole fighter is being developed by the Sukhoi aircraft maker, part of Russia''s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), along with India''s Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), under a preliminary intergovernmental agreement signed in October 2007.
The first prototype is scheduled to make its maiden flight before the end of 2009.
Last November, Russia and Brazil signed a series of agreements on military technology cooperation which emphasize the protection of intellectual property rights and technology secrets.
The agreements will facilitate the transfer of technology and the licensed production of the Russian aircraft in Brazil if Moscow decides to sign a contract with the South American country.
Meanwhile, Russia''s Su-35 jet fighter is participating in an ongoing tender for the delivery of over 100 fighters to the Brazilian Air Force.
"We are actively participating in the Brazilian tender, which has been reopened. It involves over 100 fighter planes. Russia has made a bid in the tender with its Su-35 multirole fighter. The tender has stiff requirements, involving not only the sale, but also the transfer of technology. It is a key con***ion of the deal and Russia is ready to satisfy it," Fomin said.
Brazil wants a multirole fighter to protect its national airspace as well as to keep track of smugglers in the Amazon basin and guard the country''s offshore oil rigs. However, it also wants the multi-billion dollar contract to reenergize the domestic defense industry through home-grown production and as much technology transfer as can be afforded.
Russia to deliver attack helicopters to Brazil this year
06/04/2009 13:47 MOSCOW, April 6 (RIA Novosti) - Russia will start deliveries of Mi-35 Hind attack helicopters to Brazil by the end of 2009, a senior government official said on Monday.
The Russian helicopter beat off fierce competition from the Augusta A-129 Mangusta and the Eurocopter AS-665 Tiger to win a Brazilian tender last fall.
"We have recently signed a contract to deliver 12 Mi-35 helicopters to Brazil. The first deliveries will start by the end of this year or the beginning of 2010," said Alexander Fomin, deputy director of the Federal Service on Military-Technical Cooperation.
The official said the contract was worth about $150 million.
The Mi-35 Hind E is an improved export version of the famed Mi-24 attack helicopter, which combines high fire power with a troop transport capability.
Fomin also said Russia''s Su-35 fighter had a good chance of winning an ongoing tender for the delivery of over 100 fighters to the Brazilian Air Force.

The fifth-generation fighter
23/01/2009 16:31 MOSCOW. (RIA Novosti military commentator Ilya Kramnik) - Russian designers are currently developing a fifth-generation fighter plane, also known as the Advanced Front-Line Aviation Complex (PAK FA) for Russia''s Air Force.
The new warplane is to replace fourth-generation fighters, namely, the Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker and the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 Fulcrum.
The program caught the public''s eye after Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov recently said it must be expe***ed.
The decision to develop the fifth-generation T-50 fighter was made in the early 2000s. The Sukhoi, Mikoyan-Gurevich and Yakovlev design bureaus, who primarily develop new fighters, offered their concepts. The Sukhoi Design Bureau was eventually awarded the program.
Various maiden flight and delivery deadlines have been mentioned. The fighter is expected to make its appearance sometime between 2008 and 2010. In late 2008, Colonel General Alexandr Zelin, commander of the Air Force, said the warplane would perform its initial flight in August 2009.
Last summer, the fighter''s design was approved, and the prototype blueprints were delivered to the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Production Association (KNAAPO), where production will reportedly be sited. Currently, the company is building three experimental fighters for testing. These prototypes are due to last for five or six years. However, a production run will not be launched before 2015.
Although T-50 specifications remain classified, fragmentary data on its engines imply that this heavy-duty fighter will have a take-off weight of more than 30 metric tons and will be close in dimension to the Su-27.
The Tikhomirov Instrument Engineering Research Institute, which designed the Irbis radar system for the Su-35BM Flanker generation four-plus fighter, is now developing the T-50 warplane''s radar. It appears that its radar and fire control system will be based on the Su-35BM system.
Although nobody knows what the new fighter will look like, most analysts believe it will closely resemble the Lockheed Martin/Boeing F-22 Raptor. However, this cannot be verified at this point.
Under declassified request for proposal (RFP) provisions, the new highly maneuverable fighter will have a supersonic cruise speed, and its weapons will be stored inside the fuselage. Compared with fourth-generation planes, the T-50 will be much less visible in the radio and infrared bands.
The Air Force will be enhanced by these fifth-generation fighters, their weapons and radio-electronic equipment, as well as by ground and airborne combat-support and combat-control systems.
Although the various systems are being developed at different paces and to a varying degree of success, they are vitally important to the T-50 program''s success. Without them, the fifth-generation fighter would remain an expensive toy and would fail to expand the combat potential of Air Force units.

Ngày 9/4, Trung tướng Vadim Volkovitsky, Phó Tư lệnh Không quân Nga tuyên bố, các hệ thống phòng không của Nga được triển khai ở miền Viễn Đông có khả năng bắn hạ các tên lửa cùng loại với tên lửa mà Bắc Triều Tiên mới phóng ngày 5/4.
Ngày 5/4, Bình Nhưỡng đã phóng một tên lửa nhiều tầng mà nước này tuyên bố dùng để đưa một vệ tinh viễn thông vào quỹ đạo trái đất, bất chấp sức ép từ phía Mỹ, Nhật Bản, Hàn Quốc và nhiều quốc gia khác. Các nước này nghi ngờ rằng, vụ phóng tên lửa chỉ là vỏ bọc cho cuộc thử nghiệm tên lửa tầm xa Taepodong-2.
?oHệ thống phòng không của Nga tại Viễn Đông có khả năng bắn hạ các tên lửa cùng loại với Taepodong-2. Về vụ phóng mới đây, các radar của Nga đã giám sát đường bay của tên lửa trong vòng 15-20 giây?, Trung tướng Vadim Volkovitsky cho hay.

SM3 có thể không đủ khả năng bắn hạ được quả vừa rồi của Triều , nhưng PAC 3 thì lại dư sức đấy , bác ạ, nhất là với cái loại tên lửa còn chưa ổn định về hoạt động như Taepodong 2. Vừa rồi, Mĩ và Nhật chẳng qua không dám bắn thôi chứ không phải là không thể bắn , 2 ông lớn ấy sợ Triều Tiên cáu quá , làm càn, tương cho Nhật mấy chục quả Nodong thì ...thôi rồi , nên đành phải kiềm chế nhìn tên lửa của nó bay qua đầu

Các bác nói thế nào ấy chứ, con tên lửa của Triều hơi bị khó bắn, Bác muốn bắn được tên lửa thì bác phải bắt được mục tiêu và tính được đường đạn của nó (ở một khoảng cách và thời gian nhất định) nhưng khổ một nỗi cái tên lửa của Bắc triều nó lại bay không chính xác, bay như chim mà (đồ thô sơ), bác tính đúng nó ra một đằng nhưng thực tế nó bay một nẻo nên thực tế chứng minh : có thằng nào theo dõi và có toàn bộ clip về việc nó bắn thành công hay không thành công đâu, Hàn nói một kiểu, Nga, Mỹ nói một kiểu còn Bắc triều bảo là vệ tinh của tao đang bay, hát véo von, thế mới lạ.

Bắn gì mà bắn, cậu chưa phân biệt được tầm cao, khoảng cách của 2 hệ thống tên lửa SM3 và PAC 3 thì đừng phát biểu lung tung như thế.

nói thế thì ai nói củng được bác a, TT mà nó bắn tên lửa bay cao trên 100km thì S400 với 500 gì củng hửi khói của nó , bác Nga pro này nói 10 chuyện 9 cái là tào lao với bí đao ma` thôi . ,có giỏi thì bắn ngay khi nó phóng , đợi nó phóng xong mới nói, đúng là làm trò cười cho thiên hạ
