Hệ thống tên lửa phòng không của Nga S-300V là tên lửa phòng không mặt trận dung cho các quân đoàn và được đặt trên xe bánh xích.Có mấy loại S-300V sau đây

S-300V Surface-To-Air Missile System
The S-300V surface-to-air missile system is designed to provide all-weather defence for vital front- level and rear facilities, country''''s administrative and political centres from various air attack weapons in a severe clutter and jamming environment of the modem warfare.
The system comprises a command post, a sector scanning radar, an all-round surveillance radar, a multi-channel missile guidance radars (up to four), two types of launchers (up to 24), two types of loader-launchers (up to 24), SAMs (two or four for each launcher and loader-launcher).
All combat systems are mounted on a similar tracked chassis featuring high manoeuvrability and cross-country capability. They are also provided with stand-alone power supply systems and radio communication equipment.
Each combat vehicle is provided with navigation, survey and orientation equipment to ensure links to the joint co-ordinate system. In ad***ion to combat vehicles, the system comprises repair, maintenance, and training facilities.

Russia successfully tests S-400 air defence system

Moscow, July 13 (RIA Novosti) Russia has successfully conducted the first live firing tests of its new S-400 Triumf air defence system at a testing ground in southern Russia, the Air Force said Friday.
A basic firing exercise was conducted July 12-13 at the Kapustin Yar firing range in the Astrakhan Region by an air defence regiment that will soon assume combat duty outside the Russian capital.
''The exercise was a success,'' the Air Force press service said in a statement. ''The system destroyed all designated targets.''
The S-400 (NATO codename SA-21 Growler) is a new air defence missile system developed by the Almaz Central Design Bureau as an upgrade of the S-300 family. It has been designed to intercept and destroy airborne targets at a distance of up to 400 kilometers (250 miles), or twice the range of the US MIM-104 Patriot, and 2.5 times that of the S-300PMU-2.
Lieutenant General Alexander Gorkov, the Air Force air defence chief, said last week that Russia planned to deploy new air defence systems primarily around all strategically important administrative and political centres in two stages by 2015.
During the second stage, which starts in 2010, Russia will add modernized versions of the S-400 with enhanced characteristics in comparison to the current model, he said.
The system is reportedly highly capable of destroying stealth aircraft, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles with an effective range of up to 3,500 kilometers and a speed of up to 4.8 kilometers per second.
The Russian Air Defence Forces, part of the Air Force, currently deploy more than 30 regiments equipped with S-300 (NATO reporting name SA-10 Grumble) missile complexes, which will be gradually replaced with S-400 systems.

Khi vào ngày hôm nay-Nga đã thử và triển khai tên lửa phòng không S-400 có tầm bắn tối đa đến 400 km thì cũng nên xem lại hệ thống tên lửa phòng không di động đầu tiên của Nga vào giữa thập kỷ 70 là loại S-300 tức là loại S-300P,còn mãi đến 1978 loại S-300PT mới chính thức được quân đội Nga dùng với tầm bắn chỉ có 40-50 km với loại tên lửa 5V55K và đến 1982 mới có loại S-300PS ( S-300PMU ) có tầm bắn đến 90-100 km với loại tên lửa 5V55K / 5V55R và 48N6 .
