Về cái chết của Kurt Cobain có nhiều giả thiết lắm. Fan của Kurt và gia đình cho rằng Courtney Love "set up" vụ này, rồi hàng loạt giả thiết khác.
Tuy nhiên, tôi chỉ nói theo những gì mà thông báo của cảnh sát về vụ đó thôi vì đó dù sao cũng là kết luận cuối cùng.
Theo hồ sơ của cảnh sát thì :
Khi khám nghiệm tử thi tìm thấy liều lượng heroin (morphin) trong máu của Kurt là 1.52mgs/l. Với liều ma tuý lớn như vậy cơ thể con người khó chịu đựng nổi, đối với nhiều người chắc chắn là bị chết vì overdose chứ không nói là có những hành động bất thường. Vì vậy việc bắn súng tự sát là có thể.
Kurt Cobain cũng là người nghiện ma tuý nặng và vừa ra khỏi trung tâm cai nghiện. Những trường hợp này ở đây người ta đều kết luận là UI. Ví dụ một người sử dụng ma tuý hoặc say rượu lái xe mà bị cảnh sát bắt, người ta sẽ kết luận là DUI. Trình độ dịch thuật của tôi có lẽ không tốt lắm cho nên tôi dịch UI là "phê".
Đấy là cảnh sát kết luận như vậy, tất nhiên tôi không phản đối khi bạn có những giả thiết khác.

In a possible comment on testosterone levels, the number one type of pizza delivered to the White House was veggie-topped (49 percent), while the most popular topping for staff at the Pentagon was sausage (72 percent).
Carnivores, however, were clearly more generous. Thirty-two percent of tips given at the Pentagon were 20 percent, while not one tip at the White House was above 15 percent.
In the week following Arnold Schwarzenegger''s election as governor of California, there were 125 people who called in for pizza with an Austrian accent.
President George W. Bush''s announcement of the war with Iraq triggered the second-largest pizza-ordering night of the year, beaten out of the top spot by the elaborate wedding of Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter on ABC''s reality show "The Bachelorette."
The "Bush effect" was also apparent in a massive 50 percent increase in orders for buffalo wings the night the president landed on the aircraft carrier, USS Abraham Lincoln, to declare the war over.

Word on the Internet rumor mill has it that pizza deliveries to the White House and Pentagon have increased dramatically over the past week as the two countries appeared headed toward armed confrontation.
According to an unconfirmed report posted on the Usenet, Domino''s Pizza disclosed last week the delivery of an unprecedented 300 pizzas to these strategic locations on the night of Sunday, Nov. 9 while the U.S. government was weighing its reaction to Saddam Hussein''s threat to shoot down U.N. spy planes over Iraq.
Some believe the so-called "pizza index" to be an accurate predictor of major military operations by the United States.
To cite a dramatic example from recent history, on January 15, 1991 Frank Meeks, owner of several Domino''s Pizza locations in Washington, D.C., told the Chicago Tribune that a sharp rise in the volume of pizza deliveries in the nation''s capital indicated that military action was imminent in the Persian Gulf. Operation Desert Storm was launched the next day.
Domino''s insists this was not a fluke. According to the company, its "Pizza Meter" also showed significant spikes prior to U.S. actions in other parts of the world.
"Whenever something happens in this country we know first," says Meeks. "You can question the accuracy, but orders went up before the Panama invasion, before the Grenada invasion, and on the night before George Bush said ''read my lips, no new taxes'' he said read my lips more pepperoni."
Is there anything to these claims? The available evidence is inconclusive, says Andrew Warinner, who''s conducted an exhaustive study of the phenomenon. Artist won?t fix misspelled names on Livermore mosaic

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The artist who misspelled the names of famous people in world history on a large ceramic mosaic outside Livermorê?Ts new library can spell one word with ease: N-O.
That?Ts Maria Alquilar?Ts new position on fixing the typos.
She had planned to fly to California and put the missing ``n? back in Einstein and remove the extra ``â? in Michelangelo, among other fixes. But after receiving a barrage of what she called ``vile hate mail,? Alquilar said Livermore is off her travel itinerary and therê?Tll be no changes by her artistic hand.
``No, I will not return to Livermore for any reason,? Alquilar, of Miami, told The Associated Press in an e-mail. ``There seems to be so much hatred within certain people. They continuously look for a scapegoat. I guess I am the sacrificial goat.?
She previously told officials in Livermore, about 40 miles east of San Francisco, that she would fix the 11 misspellings. She asked for $6,000 plus travel expenses to correct the work they paid her $40,000 to create. The city council, faced with the embarrassing prospect of leaving the typo-strewn work in front of its spanking new library, voted 3-2 to approve the expen***ure.
Now it appears the fix is a no go.
Livermore Mayor Marshall Kamena and Councilwoman Lorraine Dietrich did not return calls seeking comment on what their next move would be.
Alquilar explained that it took her a lot of time and money to create the work, a brightly colored 16-foot-wide circle made up of individual tiles depicting the names and images of famous people in world history.
She noted that plenty of people from the city were on hand during the installation who could and should have seen the errant spellings, she said.
``Even though I was on my hands and knees laying the installation out, I didn?Tt see it,? she said.
The mistakes wouldn?Tt even register with a true artisan, Alquilar said before deciding to leave the work as is.
``The people that are into humanities, and are into Blakê?Ts concept of enlightenment, they are not looking at the words,? she told The AP.
When asked whether she chose the words and names for the work or whether the city provided her with a list, Alquilar took an artistic stance in response.
``The art chose the words,? she said.
