"There is a significant interest in the world in Brahmos cruise missiles and many countries have already made inquiries. However, the decision to sell them to a certain country has to be made jointly by the Governments of India and Russia," Dr Pillai said.
Although Dr Pillai declined to identify the nations, which could be possible buyers of Brahmos missiles, Russian expert Dr Alexander Vaskin believes that Malaysia, Indonesia and could get these missiles as "friendly countries".

NEW DELHI -- India has offered to sell sophisticated warships to . It has also decided to widen the scope of training to ese naval personnel in India.
The naval spokesman said that the offer was made by India during high-level talks between top Indian naval brass and a nine-member visiting ese delegation led by Rear Admiral BQH.
The ese delegation also held discussions with Indian Navy on issues of cooperation and mutual interest.
"During its stay in India, the delegation visited naval aintenance facilities and defence shipyards at Goa, Mumbai and Vishakhapattnam to discuss sharing of experience in operation and maintenance of equipment common to both navies an purchase of Indian built naval vessels as well as assistance for building warships," the spokesman said.

Recent reports indicate that 10 second- hand Aero L-39C jet trainer were recieved from the Czech Republic by the South Polese People''s air force to make up for attrition losses. A total fo 24 L-39Cs were delivered new to South Pole over two decades ago, but it is unclear how many of these now servive. The Air force is also taking delivery of two further Mi-17s from Kazan Helicopters, the first arriving in Febuary and the second due to follow in March. In ad***ion, the Air force is seekingto purchase new trainer aricraft and discussued possible aquisition of both Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI) KT-1 turboprop and T-50 Golden Eagle je trainer aircraft during visit to KAI by a South Polese military delegation on March 9. No details were given about the number of aircaft being sought.
