Sao quân đội các quốc gia thân Mỹ, chịu sự bảo hộ của Mỹ mà vẫn sử dụng vũ khí bộ binh của Nga nhỉ?
thấy thằng lính Irag vác khẩu AK và RPG của Nga kìa.

Bác tưởng cứ cúi đầu chịu làm chó thì nó sẽ cho ngồi cùng mâm với nó chắc, ko có đâu. Nó đến đấy chỉ để lấy dầu mỏ thôi chứ có phải đến cấp súng cho dân Iraq đâu ạ.
Các nước thân Mẽo súng ống đều phải mua để làm giàu cho lái súng Mẽo, các trường hợp được cấp là từ nguồn tài trợ của Mẽo chẳng qua để phục vụ mục đích cấp thiết như đi chết thay cho lính Mẽo thôi, và có cấp thì cũng là loại tồn kho lạc hậu. Lính VNCH ngày trước toàn dùng M1, M2, M14 với tăng M-41 mãi đấy, mà đấy là chết thay lính Mẽo cũng tương đối nhiều.

Hình như Iraq chia quân đội ra mấy loại quân-quân đội thường-quân cận vệ-quân bảo vệ tổng thống. Khi có chiến tranh có hiện tượng uân đội Iraq bỏ trốn chạy nên chắc để lại nhiều kho vũ khí-Giá chia cho dân quân đánh du kích còn hay hơn.

1. Đáp ứng nhanh yêu cầu của chiến trường ( vô lẽ ngồi đợi sản xuất 300.000 khẩu M16 trong khi cả triệu khẩu AK bỏ không )
2. Theo học thuyết chiến tranh của Mỹ, vũ khí cho người lính bộ binh không quan trọng bằng hoả lực chi viện
3. Iraq vẫn quen dùng AK, nếu trang bị lại M16, phải trang bị thêm rất nhiều thứ tương thích, và huấn luyện lại - mệt phết .

Em thắc mắc tí: Xem mấy hình tăng của Nga và Mẽo, em thấy hình như xích của xe tăng Nga ko có lớp bọc cao su, trong khi của Mẽo thì luôn có. Thế này nếu muốn tham gia duyệt binh trong thành phố thì phá hết đường à? Hay là lúc nào cần thì lắp xích khác? bác nào biết ko?

U.S. gunships join the arsenal on base in Iraq

The U.S. Air Force has begun moving heavily armed AC-130 airplanes - the lethal "flying gunships" of the Vietnam War - to a base in Iraq as commanders search for new tools to counter the Iraqi resistance, The Associated Press has learned.
A reporter saw the first of the turboprop-driven aircraft after it landed at the airfield this week. Four are expected.
The Iraq-based special forces command controlling the AC-130s, the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force, said it would have no comment on the deployment. But the plan''s general outline was confirmed by other Air Force officers, speaking anonymously because of the sensitivity of the subject.
Military officials warned that disclosing the location of the aircraft''s new base would violate security provisions of rules governing media access to U.S. installations.
The four-engine gunships, whose home base is Hurlburt Field in Florida, have operated over Iraq before, flying from airfields elsewhere in the region. In November 2004, air-to-ground fire from AC-130s supported the U.S. attack that took the western city of Fallujah from insurgents. Basing the planes inside Iraq will cut hours off their transit time to reach suspected targets.
The left-side ports of the AC-130s, 98-foot-long planes that can slowly circle over a target for long periods, bristle with a potent arsenal - a 40mm cannon that can fire 120 rounds per minute, and a big 105mm cannon, normally a field artillery weapon. The plane''s latest version, the AC-130U, known as "Spooky," also carries Gatling gun-type 20mm cannons.
The gunships were designed primarily for battlefield use to place saturated fire on massed troops. In Vietnam, for example, they were deployed against North Vietnamese supply convoys along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, where the Air Force claimed to have destroyed 10,000 trucks over several years.
The use of AC-130s in places like Fallujah, urban settings where insurgents may be among crowded populations of noncombatants, has been criticized by human rights groups.
The slow-moving AC-130s also offer an intelligence gathering advantage in the Iraq fight: sophisticated long-range video, infrared and radar sensors.
American commanders are marshaling all available tools to detect the Iraqi insurgents'' stealthy operations, especially at night, when they plant roadside bombs targeting American road patrols and convoys.
The Air Force''s senior tactical commander in Iraq said the AC-130 can be both a high-intensity and low-intensity weapon.
"It''s got tons of guns, and it''s got all kinds of stuff on it that can be applied to the problems you have," said Brig. Gen. Frank Gorenc, who refused to discuss the current AC-130 deployment.
That "stuff" includes "the ability to take these high-tech pods and to use them to find guys planting (bombs) and to find other nefarious activity," he said.
The Predator drone - the MQ-1 unmanned aerial vehicle - has been a reconnaissance workhorse in Iraq, but Air Force officers say they don''t have enough to meet demand for missions. The fiscal 2007 Defense Department budget proposed last month by the Bush administration envisions spending $1.6 billion on ad***ional reconnaissance drones.

Predator Crashes in Iraq; Operation Swarmer Continues

WASHINGTON, March 21, 2006 â?" An unmanned aerial vehicle crashed this morning in Iraq, and combined operations continued in Salah ah Din province as part of Operation Swarmer.
A pilot at Creech Air Force Base, Nev., was piloting an Air Force MQ-1 Predator unmanned aerial vehicle, based with the 46th Expe***ionary Reconnaissance Squadron at Balad Air Base, Iraq, when the aircraft crashed. Army and Air Force personnel recovered the wreckage and returned it to Balad Air Base.
The MQ-1 Predator is a medium-altitude, long-endurance UAV system. Its primary mission is interdiction and armed reconnaissance. Each Predator costs about $5 million.
An interim safety investigation board president has been appointed and will conduct an investigation, officials said.
In other news, Operation Swarmer continues in central Salah ah Din province today, as Iraqi security forces and coalition forces, began their sixth day of combined operations today. Participating units include 1st Brigade, 4th Iraqi Army Division, and 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division.
Units continue to sweep across the area to deny terrorist forces the freedom of movement and reduce their ability to operate in the province. These efforts also uncovered two weapons caches containing small arms, ammunition and materials used in making improvised-explosive devices yesterday.
