To Dirosemimi : Our Sincere Appreciation

This post is to dedicate to Ms. Dimi, our beloved leader of SEC. I would like to represent for all the SEC members and want to say our sincere appreciation to Dimi for the tremendous work she has done for this box.

I''ve acquained to hundred of people during my 10+ years chatting with people on the Internet. Sis Dimi is the one of the very few that I really admire and respect. Even though I have never met her in life, seeing her dedication to this box impresssed me on the first day I came here. SEC is another one of those learning forums; and anything relating to learning is very boring. To manage and develop this box is a very difficult task. That''''s why most of the mods give up on SEC after a period of time and leave. However, Dimi enthusiastically stays with it and tries her best effort to bring excitement to SEC. Without her, I''''m sure that SEC would be long gone.

What impressed me the most is her consistent contributions to SEC. I know that Dimi has a very busy schedule with her daily life. She has a challenging job; she has to take care of her family, and socializes with other people. Yet she is still able to devote her time and effort to make SEC a better place each day. Not just a month, not just a year, but Dimi has been doing this for the last 5 years. She does all of this not for any personal gain, but because she loves SEC, because she is passionate in helping other people to improve their English skills and establish a community where people can make friends. Her title states that, "Mãi yêu và ở bên SEC," and that is completely true.

Even though I''''ve only been here for a short time, I already know the difficultiies, and sometimes, frustration to manage this box. I''''m writing this to let you know that your hard work won''''t be overlooked by us. Thank you Dimi, our SEC''s best member ever.

''I give up,'' said the chief and she left the conference immidiately. It suprised me since I have been here and known her for a long time. She is not a person who gives up something easily, especially this club. I feel very sad. Dimi, you dissapointed me.

Dear sis, we''re trying to have a conference today. The turnout is lower than expected, but we tried to keep it going. It was really difficult.
SEC wouldn''t have existed until now without your encouragement and support. It''s never enough to thank you, sis Don''t leave us.

Dear King, Tao_lao, FJX, Satori, Coldbutcool and other SEC members,
Reading your nice words, especially Kingâ?Ts makes me touched. I am so thankful for all of the good things you dedicate to me and also your love for SEC.
However, there might be some misunderstandings I caused you. Last Friday meeting, I said â?oI give upâ?. But what I mean was just giving up the SEC online meeting. It did not mean â?ogiving up SECâ?. You know, I love SEC so much, and my title is â?oForever love and stay with SECâ?. How can I leave it, a small community, a small warm home full of friendships and sharing? It only happens in case you guys all leave it.
As for SEC online meeting, I was really despaired of some core members who could not manage time to join the online meetings regularly. That really negatively affected the quality of the meetings. I do not want our online meetings are delayed or canceled repeatedly and I do not want to be alone to do all things, I feel tired.
From the time we set concepts for this activity, we all know that people are busy with their hectic schedules. So meetings are always conducted as long as the number of attendees is 4+ (more than 4). However, this activity does need organizers and organizers are very important. I am in charge of topics, Thy is in charge of linking members and dividing groups, King is responsible for updating attendeesâ?T lists. Without the jobs of organizers, the meeting faces difficulties.
I think from now on, King and Thy share the tasks. Both of you will be key contacts of members, adding attendeesâ?T ID and open YIM conference. In ad***ion, Thy will continue to divide groups and King will be in charge of updating IDâ?Ts list. How you think, King/Thy?
Also, I make topics and questionnaire. From now on, I will join the meetings sometimes. I am a reserve online meetingsâ?T participant as I usually have to dine out with clients on Friday nights and come home a bit late in tiredness. That is the reason why SEC needs other organizersâ?T attendance.
*****m up, organizers and all members of SEC, please manage your time to join the online meetings regularly. Otherwise, it will be died.
So now, King and other members, donâ?Tt worry! I always stand by you. What I meant last Friday was just the online meeting stuff.

I used to be a SEC organizer, but I did not do a good job. Sorry Dimi.
Everyone should know that Dimi will never give up. She loves SEC forever and always try to improve SEC be a better place for everyone.
I left SEC for a while, hope Dimi will let me in again, right Di ?
