    The Beatles perform at the Top Ten Club, Reeperbahn, Hamburg, West
    Germany. (1188)

    The Beatles perform at the ****rn Club at lunchtime and then again
    at night. (1471)

    1963
    The Beatles perform at two venues on the same night. They perform
    first at the Palace Theatre Club in Offerton, Stockport, Cheshire.
    Then they travel ten miles to the Southern Sporting Club,
    Manchester, Lancashire. (1813)

    The Beatles perform two more shows at Centennial Hall, Adelaide,
    South Australia, Australia. For the four shows that The Beatles
    performed in Adelaide there were 12,000 tickets, for which 50,000
    requests had been placed. The two shows on this day are drummer
    Jimmy Nicol's last as a "temporary Beatle". Ringo Starr will meet
    The Beatles in Melbourne the next day and perform with them right
    away. Jimmy Nicol's brief stint as a 'member' of the world's most

    John Lennon appears in a pre-taped television performance for the
    special "Salute to Sir Lew Grade". This will be Lennon's final
    stage appearance. John's backing group wears two-faced masks,
    Lennon's unsubtle reference to his opinion of Sir Lew. Lennon and
    his group are billed as "John Lennon and Etcetera". One of the
    three songs performed for the special, "Imagine", is included on
    the 1992 videocassette "The John Lennon Collection". They had
    taped, in ad***ion to "Imagine", the songs "Stand by Me" and
    "Slippin' and Slidin'", but "Stand by Me" was not included in the
