    UK release of Beatles LP "With the Beatles" (Parlophone). The
    Beatles' second album. Songs: "It Won't Be Long", "All I've Got to
    Do", "All My Loving", "Don't Bother Me", "Little Child", "Till
    There Was You", "Please Mr. Postman", "Roll Over Beethoven", "Hold
    Me Tight", "You Really Got a Hold on Me", "I Wanna Be Your Man",
    "Devil in Her Heart", "Not a Second Time", and "Money". Highest
    chart position: #1.

    1963
    The Beatles, on a tour of Britain, perform two shows at the Globe
    Cinema, Stockton-on-Tees, Durham.

    [G] 1967
    George Harrison in the recording studio (Studio Two, EMI Studios,
    London). Producing recordings of two tracks that will be included
    in his "Wonderwall" film soundtrack ("India" and "Swordfencing").
    Two flautists and a tabla player perform the music (George does not
    play on any of the "Wonderwall" tracks).

    White Album" (Apple). First Beatles album released on the Apple

    Billboard announces that The Beatles' compilation album "1" has
    attained the #1 spot on its Top 200 album chart in the album's
    first week of release. "1" is also #1 on Billboard's "Top Internet
    Album Sales" chart. [Billboard magazine issue date December 2].
    "1" becomes the 19th Beatles album to reach #1 in the US and the
    first to do so since "Anthology 3" in November 1996.
