    The Beatles perform at the Kaiserkeller Club, Grosse Freiheit,
    Hamburg, West Germany.

    1962
    The Beatles perform at the Rialto Ballroom, Liverpool, for a
    performance billed as a "Rock 'n' Twist Carnival".

    1963
    The Beatles perform at Trentham Gardens Ballroom, Trentham,
    Staffordshire.

    1964
    The Beatles, on a tour of Britain, perform two shows at the Odeon
    Cinema in Birmingham.

    1965
    US release of singles with previously-released Beatles songs:
    "Twist and Shout/There's a Place", "Love Me Do/P.S. I Love You",
    "Please Please Me/From Me to You", "Do You Want to Know a
    Secret/Thank You Girl", "Roll Over Beethoven/Misery", and
    "Boys/Kansas City/Hey Hey Hey Hey" (Capitol Starline).

    [J] 1967
    A Yoko Ono art exhibit called "Yoko Plus Me", sponsored anonymously
    by John Lennon, opens at the Lisson Gallery in London. The exhibit
    runs through November 14.

    1968
    The Beatles in the recording studio (Studio Two, EMI Studios,
    London). Six saxophonists record a baritone and tenor sax
    arrangement scored by Chris Thomas for "Savoy Truffle". George
    Harrison distorts the saxophones to get the desired sound.

    [O] 1968
    UK release of Bonzo Dog Band single "I'm the Urban Spaceman", which
    was produced by Paul McCartney (using the pseudonym "Apollo C.
    Vermouth"). Released in the US on December 18, 1968.

    [J] 1971
    US release of John Lennon single "Imagine/It's So Hard" (Apple). 9
    weeks on Billboard chart; highest position #3.

    [R] 1988
    Ringo and his wife Barbara travel to Tucson, Arizona in the US for
    treatment for alcoholism. They complete the treatment on Nov. 25
    and return to England.
