Dear Tuan Kim,

Regarding your inquiry:

ETS is committed to providing access to all individuals who need to take the TOEFL(r) test. To ensure that all applicants are able to test, ETS is adjusting the TOEFL iBT launch schedule starting with countries scheduled to begin TOEFL iBT in March 2006. Rather than delivering TOEFL iBT in every location within a country, ETS will introduce the iBT test in selected cities, and will continue to deliver the current computer-based or paper-based versions of the test in other locations.

As you have recently found out, there will be paper-based TOEFL test administrations conducted in Hanoi on May 13, 2006. Registration closes on April 10.

Please feel free to view the list of locations where TOEFL iBT will be introduced at http://www/ets.org/toefl. New information related to the TOEFL iBT rollout, including new test centers, ad***ional seats, or ad***ional test dates, will be provided every Friday by 4 p.m. (New York time). Test takers should check this list before registering to determine whether TOEFL iBT will be administered in their area.

Now I''''m in Hanoi city, Vietnam. Yesterday, I came to your website,
www.toefl.org, and found out that I can register for paper-based TOEFL test on 13 May, 2006. I thought that the last one is on 14 March, 2006 and the format will change into iBT (Internet-based TOEFL test). Please explain for me and let me know whether I can register a paper-based TOEFL at Vietnam on 13 May, 2006 or not? And when the new format TOEFL test will be applied in Vietnam ?
