Introdution:
Work Experience USA has earned a reputation as the premier J-1 international work placement program. With WEUSA, you can work for up to four months from May through September in virtually any occupation you can imagine. The job might be similar to the one you have at home, it could be a valuable work experience relating to your field of study or something completely new.
US Government tightens visa regulations - Apply early to guarantee your participation
As a result of the increased security measures in the US, participants on J-1 programs will now be subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than in past years. The time needed to process individual visa applications will be difficult to predict but we can almost certainly guarantee that it will take longer than before. All participants for J-1 programs are now required by US law to have a personal interview at the embassy. CCUSA will assist in making these new regulations as easy as possible.

Those wishing to work in the USA for the 2004 summer must not delay - apply as soon as possible! Applications for 2004 summer programs will be available on October 1st.

To be eligible you must:

be at least 18 years of age and no older than 29 years by May 15

be a bona fide post-secondary school students actively pursuing a degree or a full-time course of study at an accre***ed educational institution. You must also be enrolled in an accre***ed educational institution and registered for a full-time course load for the semester following your participation in the program.

be available to leave for the USA from May through July and work for three to four months
be a self-starter, flexible and willing to make new friends
