HANOI: South Block and the Prime Minister''''s Office will not acknowledge it, but the subtext of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee''''s current visit to Vietnam -- and later Indonesia -- is to shore up what is considered the informal club of Asian countries that are wary of China. Both India and Vietnam have faced Chinese invasions, and Indonesia has concerns arising from its influential Chinese community. In Hanoi, there have been little or no references to security. The prime minister scotched a question on Vietnam providing jungle warfare training to India by acknowledging and declaring that "it was an ongoing programme" and that there was no other programme in the military field. On Tuesday, the prime minister met legendary Vietnamese military commander Vo Nguyen Giap in what is largely a symbolic meeting since the General has retired, having been politically sidelined nearly a decade ago. According to a senior PMO official, while there was nothing dramatic about Indo-Vietnamese security cooperation, it was quite substantial, though neither of the countries would like to talk about it. During Prime Minister Narasimha Rao''''s visit in 1994, the two countries signed an MoU on defence cooperation through which India has supplied ammunition, propellants for SAMs, MiG-21 tyres and other spares and silver oxide batteries. The MoU also provided for some seats for Vietnamese officers in Indian military schools.
Last March, during the visit of Defence Minister George Fernandes, another defence agreement was signed. Under this, India has agreed to repair and overhaul Russian-made MiG-21 and MiG-29 fighters of the Vietnamese Air Force and to provide some training to its pilots. India will also assist Vietnam in setting up its defence industry and work out ways and means involving the two countries in joint production and marketing of defence products. Vietnam has also expressed interest in the Indian-made ALH helicopters and there are hopes that India may, in time, market its LCA aircraft here as well. Naval cooperation between the two countries has taken major strides. Last year an Indian naval squadron visited Ho Chi Minh City and the defence agreement of last year is expected to facilitate repair, upgradation and building of vessels for the Vietnam Navy and train its personnel. Vietnam has shown interest in acquiring Indian-made fast patrol boats to patrol its extensive maritime interests. The Vietnamese are already imparting their knowledge of jungle warfare to the Indian Army and there have been a number of undisclosed contacts between the two armies at the highest level, in the main to exchange information on the ways and means of tackling Chinese military tactics. During his visit here, Fernandes was given a demonstration by the instructors of the Vietnam Army''''s jungle warfare school. But while security concerns vis-a-vis China may be the current subtext of Vajpayee''''s visit, there is a larger post-Pokhran strategic vision that New Delhi is seeking to put in place. Among these is a chain of cooperative relationships through the ASEAN region to Japan. While one facet of this is being worked out through naval contacts, another is by strategic investments such as those being made in the Vietnamese oil industry by ONGC and IOC. Chả biết có tin nổi không bác ạ chứ chưa thấy cái Mig 29 nào được các bác trong box mình phát hiện bay trên bầu trời VN

Cứ tin đi và tự sướng đi ai cấm được. Vì dù sao cũng chẳng có bác nào là đặc công mà mò vào tận trong từng sân bay mà sờ thấy tận nơi đâu để phát hiện ra là có hay không.

Nước ngoài dự báo NC có hơn 50chiếc Mig-29 đên 2010 nhưng chua có bao nhiêu.
Liệu trong thời gian tới chúng ta sẽ trang bị Mig-29 thay thế mig-21 không hả các bác ? chắc nhà mình sẽ chọn Mig-35? hay Su-27/30 second hand số lượng khá để bù vào số mig -21 hết hạn sau này
Nếu cho về hưu Mig-21 thì lựa chọn số 1 là chiếc nào nhỉ?

Nga mà bán Mig 31 cho Syria thì liệu NC có mua được không các bác. Su hào nhà mình chả hơn gì thằng Béo, số lượng của nó thì đông hơn, nhưng nó vẫn còn bị EU cấm vận vũ khí, tranh thủ lúc này sao không tậu một ít Eurofighter Typhoon nhỉ?

Theo em thời gian tới nếu có chọn Mig-29 thìcác bác QP nhà mình sẽ chọn Mig-29SMT luôn để phù hợp với chiến lược quân sự thời kỳ hội nhập uy thế của NC trên trường quốc tế
Nếu có F-16 giá ưu đãi thì cũng nên mua nhưng không hy vọng có được F-16 loại xịn.

Mua đám F16 của Ve chắc cũng rẻ thôi mà

Nhân tiện có bác urani nói về việc nhà ta mua Su hào bắp cải. Đàm phàn cũng mửa mật, ngay các phương án không chỉ cos 1, 2, 3 mà là đến tận cả U, V, X, Y, Z. Trong đó lại có các phương án con nữa. <--Hóng hớt.

vậy nếu NC cuả chúng ta chở thành1 quốc gia phát truyển thì NC minh có muá dc loại hàng khủng Su-35 cuả nga ko vậy ai biết thì tra lời giúp
