    Ka-32A
Civil transport version of Ka-27/32 certificated to FAR-29/33 with 16 passenger seats and provision for lifting underslung loads. Powered by two 2190shp Klimov TV3-117V turboshafts.
Ka-32A main roles are: carrying people and cargoes in the transport cabin and bulky cargo on external sling, evacuation of casualties and victims, search and emergency-rescue operations, loading-unloading of the ships in travel and at roadstead, servicing operations of coastal gas and oil pipelines, building-installation operations.
Ka-32A helicopter has coaxial rotor layout with two three-blade rotors of 15.9-m diameter each. The polymeric composite blades are folded into stowage position when the helicopter is based on ship decks. Ka-32A is developed on the basis of ship-borne Ka-27 and Ka-28 helicopters and inherited high power-to-weight ratio, maneuverability, capability for all-weather operations including the icing con***ions; adaptability of the units, systems and assemblies for aggressive sea water operational con***ions. The coaxial rotor layout makes the helicopter safe in maneuvering in the vicinity of obstacles, including in turbulent atmosphere.
Ka-32A is unsurpassed in its class, it carries cargo of up to 5000kg on an external sling at the altitude of up to 2500m. In case of one engine failure the helicopter continues safe forward flight and successfully lands. Due to its on-board avionics suite the helicopter is operable 24 hours a day throughout the year and in IFR con***ions.
The helicopter set 7 world records. Western operators in Switzerland, Canada, Papua-New Guinea, Burma and other countries successfully operate Ka-32A. The helicopter is available in several versions: Ka-32A1 fire-fighting version, Ka-32A2 police version, Ka-32A11BC, Ka-32A12. The aviation registers of Canada and Switzerland have granted type certificates to Ka-323A11BC and Ka-32A12 helicopters.

    Kamov Ka-50 "Black Shark"
    1982
    [IMG]
Ka-50 "Black Shark" is a single-seat attack helicopter for destroying armored vehicles, slow-speed air targets and manpower on the battlefield.Coaxial Ka-50 helicopter has two three-blade rotors of 14.5-m diameter each. The polymeric composite blade is attached to the hub by a torsion bar. The airframe features perfect aerodynamic outlines, mid-set stub wing, retractable three-leg landing gear and empennage of a fixed-wing aircraft type. The pilot ****pit is fully armored. The emergency pilot escape system, comprising an ejection seat, saves the pilot within the entire flight speed and altitude range. A set of improved survivability means allows Ka-50 to attack successfully the specified targets and *****rvive under intensive fire counteraction.
A coaxial rotor helicopter features: higher power-to-weight ratio due to the absence of power losses for a tail rotor; 1.5...2 times lower inertia moments of the helicopter; ability to perform a pedal (flat) turn within the full flight speed range; the best vertical rate of climb and hovering ceiling.
The load factor of 3.5G combined with the above unique qualities allows the helicopter to perform combat maneuvers within the minimum air area and the shortest time to gain an advantageous attack position.
Numerous weapons options for the helicopter are achieved by arranging a movable high-speed firing gun starboard of the helicopter, and by six available external wing stores with different combination of anti-tank missiles, rockets, "air-to-air" missiles, gun ammunition of a container type and bombs of various caliber.
Total weight of the weapons on the wing stores is 2300kg. From the point of view of the weapons power the "Black Shark" helicopter is superior to all existing combat helicopters.
The on-board avionics suite ensures helicopter piloting and control including the use of satellite navigational system, 24 hours a day, in anytime of the year. The observation, search and sighting systems comprising TV, laser and IR equipment are capable to detect targets and to fire the full arsenal of weapons in day and night con***ions

    Kamov Ka-31
    1987
    [IMG]
Ka-31 helicopter is intended for long-range detection of air targets of a fixed-wing/helicopter type, including detection at low altitudes, and over-waters ships, their tracking and automatic transmission of their data to the command posts. The helicopter can considerably increase combat mission efficiency of Navy ships, Army aviation and tank detachments by providing them with timely information about the actions of the ships, fixed-wing aircraft and combat helicopters of the enemy.
Ka-31 helicopter is developed on the basis of Ka-27 ship-borne coaxial helicopter. Under the transport cabin floor there is a compartment housing the support-rotating mechanism of a 6-m span antenna. To prevent the interference in the antenna all-round rotation plane the nose landing gear legs are retracted rearward into the cowlings flight-wise and the main legs are retracted upward. In stowed position the antenna is kept against the fuselage bottom. The search and attack equipment of Ka-27 helicopter intended for fighting against sub-marines is dismounted. Instead, a radio-electronic suite is installed for radar target detection, targets identification and transmission of the over-water and air situation data to the ship-based and ground-based command posts. Ka-31 is based on the ships and on the ground.
The core of the on-board avionics suite is powerful solid-state radar. The radio-electronic package automatically controls the helicopter flight over the specified route in any weather and climatic con***ions. When the radio-electronic package is on, the antenna is extended and the navigator has elected the operational mode, all further operations are performed automatically without operator interference. The navigator role is simply to control the systems operation and to duplicate target observation on the display screen.
