try to translate this word into English

Everybody, sorry for posting a word that has a negative connotation. Frankly, dueto a shallow knowledge on English I haven't known this word deeply as Sorority_Girl. I though it 's a synonym of love triangle and that is a reason I posted it here for learning purpose. Even I tried to look it up in the dictionary, I could not get the correct meaning of this word. After going asking around I finally understood what it means. In US, this word is used for different situation as sobe pointed out.
Soroity_Girl, instead of explaining and helping me out on this , you just laughed at me. What a good behavior ! Thanks to you. I hope you haven't experienced it in US.

The best translation = love triangle. Anybody has a different opinion ?

I really don't know why we use the word "love triangle" for the situation three people have strong affection for each other in a chain. The foreigners put things together that way, it's better to remember and use the word like they do.
Anybody has another explanation for Quanbanh97202 ?

also if you wanna say it in verb form, you can say sth like this" Three of them were entangled in a love relationship ...."
