Topic : What is the generation gap?

I think one of reasons that creates the generation gap is life style.
For older people who were born and grew up in the two wars between Vietnam and France ,between VietNam and USA. They have a simple life. Their ideas are the ideas of Marxism,it is their religon. These people are quite conservative.... Most of these people like reading newspaper in the morning ,watching news on television. They drink tea everyday... It is hobby.
For younger people who were born and grew up in pacific. They have a different life from older people. They earn lots of money, and spend lots of money. A few of them like reading newspaper ,watching news on television the same as older people. Most of them like to find news on the internet, It is convenient. They like going to pubs,bars... like chatting with friends.
Now aday , a few younger people are so intelligent that older people recognize them.These people succeeded in Economic ,Polotical, Science.... These people can speak lots of language. They will take a nice future for VietNam.

You shouldn''''t think about older people like so. They had a great cre*** in protecting our country from aggressors. I don''''t understand why you think they had a simple life. On the contrary, they went through many hardships. At that time, they were as young as us, they were ready to leave a lot of fine plans to go to the front, to dedicate their lives to our country without demands. We have to hold them in high steem and be proud of them. They deserve tobe praised. I think it is so ungrateful of you to think so.

How does your parents think if they have a son/girl like as you?
