What is considered scarring?
Scarring is a result of the body''s last phase of healing. It is a response to an unpleasant experience or trauma to the skin caused by accidents, burns, insect bites, surgery, acne and body piercing. There is a decrease or absence of elastic fibers and the collagen bundles are usually thickened and grow excessively. Hypertrophic scars are thick, raised and discolored (dark brown, red, purple). Keloid scars grow beyond the boundaries of the wound site and are also discolored (dark brown, red, purple).
How does Syprex work?
Studies continually show the effectiveness of silicone for treating scars but the mechanism of action is still unknown. Theories such as hydration, the silicone''s property of emitting a mild static electrical charge, and its effect on other biological changes have been reviewed. Studies identifying the mechanism of action are currently being conducted. Syprex does not contain chemicals or medication. Scars fade - scars leave.
How well does Syprex work?
Some research authors have suggested that silicone sheeting may prevent hypertrophic and keloid scars in 75 - 85% of the cases. Is Syprex for my skin type and scar?

How do I use Syprex and for how long?
1. Apply Syprex directly over your scar using the surgical tape provided or any other preferred method. Syprex may be customized by cutting it to the shape of your scar but should overlap the scar area by ¼ of an inch.
2. After you wear your Syprex sheet simply wash it with a liquid anti-bacterial soap. Your Syprex Scar Sheet is ready for its next use.
3. Your Syprex Sheet should be worn every day for a minimum of 8 hours to a maximum of 24 hours a day for best results.
4. While improvement in your scar''s appearance may be seen in as little as 3 days, full benefit may take 6 weeks to 9 months.

nó có nhiều lọai quá, mà cái tape 1"x10 yard roll dùng để làm gì vậy ? mình có phải mua luôn ko ?

Tớ rất băn khoăn cái vụ sẹo lâu năm vì mặt tớ nhiều lắm, trông như giang hồ í, hi hi, bạn Rat-ni có kinh nghiệm trả lời cho tớ với nhé. Mà thấy trên website của nó còn có loại kem của hãng đấy luôn nhỉ, không biết dùng có tốt không.
