RESEARCH and TRAINING SHORT CONTRACT
The Landmines Survivors Network in Vietnam [LSNV] is a new project to assist survivors in Bo Trach District of Quang Binh Province to recover their lives, participate in society and realise their potential. Information about LSN may be read on www.landminesurvivors.org
LSNV must gather good quality information on services and economic opportunities for people with disabilities, so as to be able to give the best advice and support *****rvivors and their families. A Research Consultant is now needed for a period of about 6 weeks for the functions as follows:
Objective: Prepare Information to provide advice and linkage to services for income generation
GENERAL TASK: Collection of data on Service Providers in Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thanh Hue, about four weeks; followed by database completion and training of about two weeks
ACTIVITY: to record and make available information relevant to people with disabilities, on:
a) small business development services,
b) loan and grant programs,
c) training,
d) technical assistance resources available
e) con***ions for access to and use of such services.
OUTCOME: LSN will have an up-to-date electronic directory of all main services in business development, available in LSN work areas of Quang Binh Province and two neighbouring provinces
SCOPE of WORK:
a) gather information from all sources [such as banks; Womensâ?T Union Small Business Loan Program; medium and small enterprise support fund; #135 program; DOLISA program for vocational development; Social Policies Bank; other ODA projects such as IFAD]
b) in cooperation with LSNV staff, design a database [Excel]
c) put information into computer database
d) train the users of the database
e) during the research, find out which businesses are most successful
f) possibly from Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) or similar agencies, collect modules / examples / instruction materials for choosing, setting up and operating small businesses
g) collect information on market prices of services and materials for direct assistance *****rvivors [list of items will be provided by LSNV]
h) provide a summary report in Vietnamese and English of contacts made, findings, recommendations and instructions for database users [about 10-12 pages]
QUALIFICATIONS and CRITERIA
a) Education in commerce, business development, management, public services, or a related field
b) Knowledge of Quang Binh Province agencies, organisations and businesses
c) Knowledge of the needs of and services for people with disabilities
d) Expertise in use of computers [Excel and MS Word]
e) Experience in donor-supported projects
f) Experience in training (adult) staff
g) Competency in Vietnamese and English languages

À, Thanh hằng về Ngân hàng NN&PTNT nộp đơn xin việc tề. Hình như khoảng tháng 7,8 đến 10 là có đợt tuyển đó. Còn 1 vị trí ở phòng hối đoái quốc tế thì phải. Chà, sao cái đầu chị tệ thế này nhỉ. Hình như họ đang cần người giỏi tiếng Anh. Theo như chị biết thì không phải hối lộ...
