the communal house {or "dinh")is the only place in vietnam where artists have the absolute freedom to cover all topics of life with honesty , openness and humour.T his is also place where the talents and skillsof masters from both royal and tra***ional art-carving schools can live side-by-side . but vietnam's communal houses are too much more than that. they look good , for a start .
THE communal house is actually a conso***ionof vietnam's village culture down the generations .originaltion biut to observe religious beliefs, they honour theguardian spirit of the vilage .he or she could be a legendry god or goddees, a departed person who made a great con-tribution to the country ,such as a general . a fouder of a tai***ional handicraft profession, such as eaving; or even a more dubious member of society ., such as a beggar of thief.
