What is a man?

Man have to bring the good to this world, to himself and his family and friends. He is a man of responsibility. What are the responsibility of the man by the way? I will explain them in Confucianism (Khổng giáo) perspective and will give my comments on them.
1) Five key concepts
A man have to know ''Nhân, nghĩa, lễ, trí, tín''. Nhân is to be kind-hearted. Nghĩa is to conduct right things. Lễ is to know proper rituals (in human-human, human-heaven relationship /behaviors.) Trí is to nurture knowledge /good education/ to have enlightened mind. And Tín is to keep his promises/commitments. To practice these five key concepts/areas is to nurther his good and rectify his bad, ''tu thân'' in action. Performing these action is to perform his responsibility to himself.
2) Man ''s responsibilties
As mentioned above, tu thân is the responsibility of man to himself. Apart from that, he have to ''tề gia, trị quốc, bình thiên hạ'' ( manage family, govern country and whole world). To put them in systematic way, we can say
a) Tu thân- his responsibility to himself. To have good education
b) Tề gia-his responsibilty to his familty. To properly manage his wife/children
c) Trị quốc/bình thiên hạ- his responsibility to his country.
3) My comments
a) Comment on Tu thân
All parents want all good for their sons. They want him to get good education. However, Vietnamese parents mistaken good education for good and high degrees (university degree/master/Ph.D) They force their sons to study to get any kinds of degree with any majors. They do not care much as long as they are master degree or Ph.D. After gaining his degrees, they want their sons become a madarin/high status officer (A French guy commented: in Vietnamese heart, there is a mandarin-Trong lòng mỗi người VN đều có 1 ông quan.) Then what? A man with good education can earn a lot of money, a high social status to take care of his family,himself, friends, what is wrong with that ,man (are you crazy?)?
Such kind of attitute create a wrong perception on man ability. As long as he holds a good certificate (just a paper), he can do the jobs. As long as he holds a good certificate, he is a kind/good person (so-called trí thức-intellectual). As long as he holds a good certificate, he has everything. Those sound stupid at the first place, yet people believe them unconciously.
However, pls frankly answer my questions. Do people become smarter/more intelligent after earning these degrees/ aqquiring all knowledge in science/engineering/literature/ arts? Do people become smarter after reading a lot of books? They gain a pair of glasses accually. Do people become more morally /kinder after gaining such degrees? No, a big NO for all above questions ( some of my friends consider me as an anti-education guy[])
b) Comments on tề gia,trị quốc
In fact, tu thân is main teaching part of Confucianism. The rest are just ad***ionall parts because after you are ''tu thân'', you are a superior guy, you can do whatever you want. Have not finished Tu thân yet, why concern on tề gia, trị quốc? ( Confucious did tell his student '' you do not know human matter, why concern on ghost matters'' when he asked him whether he believes in ghost.)
The main responsibility of the man to his family is his to his parents, wife and children. He should take good care of his parents and wife (give her his salary every month). He should teach his children well (send them to international schools, study with good teachers etc.) They are main concerns of so-called '' tam cương, ngũ thường''. (****, I forgot what they are, because I have not read Confucianism for years). In short, he should behave properly his parents/wife/friends/authority/country. (that ''s so-called nghĩa-what he should do)
In tề gia teaching, family is a root/cell of society. Good families create good society. If everyone conducts his resonsibilities properly, the society will be in harmony. Conducting responsibity properly means that they have to deserve their NAME (Rectity name teaching, Chính Danh). A father should behave as a good father, a child should behave as a good child, a king should behave as a good king etc. In short, everything you do ( you do not do it for fun), you should remember what are your NAME or your resonsiblity.

a man is not an animal, not a woman,not a tree, and he is the one who is intelligent enough to earn money, power, and fame. He knows when to get married and how to make his wife and his children happy.
A real man is the one who knows how to refuse the love of an woman who is not his wife, who shares with his wife the pain and happiness, who teaches his children to be good ( I mean more intelligent, richer than him).
After all, a man is a human being and will return to Mother Nature some day. He''s not number one but he''s not number two either.
