What's an effective English lesson for 1-2nd year students at non-English specialized universities?

What do u want ur teacher to do for students during an English lesson? Remember the situation mentioned is in Vietnam.
As a student at non-English specialized university, which following ones do u think are good:
1. T (teacher) uses English every time, even S (students) may not understand in some cases.
2. T uses English every time and S can stop him to explain if they have difficulties. In case, S neither stop nor catch the meaning. What should T do?
3. T raises questions in English and ask S to answer asap.
4. T asks S to translate into English.
5. T gives grammar structures and ask S to make sentences with them.

1. It depends on the English level of students and teacher's educational skills.
2. Teaches should make students feel free to ask question by prasing those who do so. Instructors must realize the points where students don't understand by looking at their faces while speaking.
3. This part is included in 1 and 2.
4 and 5. Everyone does this. However, doing it a lot will make student really bored.
Ad***ional advice:
A. Watching movies.
B. Using useful materials and gestures to demonstrate the words or circumstances.
C. Giving Prizes.
D. Celebrating Western Events.
E. Drama, Singing and Dancing.
F. Giving research or essays of freely chosen topic. Don't force students in any type of topical restriction.
