THE BIGGEST EVENT IN THE WORLD​

Joining the spirit of the World Cup 2006, SEC will have a little writing contest called "My Champion Football Team." Basically, you will write a short essay about your dream football team. It can be either a national team, a club, or your imagined team that can consists of players from anywhere in the world and any generation. Just tell us why you like this team and the factors that make your team the champion.

Guidelines for the contest:

- Anyone can join (SEC members, non-SEC members, even the judges are also welcome)
- The essay has to be your own writing, at least 100 words, and in English of course
- The writing will be evaluated by the content and strategy. (Hint: use your imagination to make it interesting)
- Judges: Dirosemimi, FJX, Satori, and king67. Judges cannot vote for their own writing.

PRIZE

The winner of the writing contest will receive an autograph signed by the great England Captain David Beckham himself (picture below). The prize will be awarded on our offline meeting in July or sent to the winner if he/she does not live in SaiGon.



Even if you do not participate in this contest, you can write anything relating to football on this thread: favorite players, statistics, football strategies, or even betting. Just join us so our box can have some great fun during this exhilarating event.

Who will win the Golden Boot (scoring the most goals) in World Cup 2006?
- Milan Baros (Forward, Czech Republic): this Aston Villa''s striker scored five times in four Euro 2004 matches.
- Ronaldo (Forward, Brazil): he scored 8 goals in WC 2002.
- Thierry Henry (Forward, France): his 27 Premiership goals for Arsenal is more than impressive.
- Luca Toni (Forward, Italy): this guy scored 31 goals for Fiorentina this season, first player to do this in 29 years in the Serie A.
- Paulete (Forward, Portugal): he scored 3 of his team''s 6 goals during the WC 02 and he''s even getting better this time.
