Writing Class

I want to study more about writing skill because I have to write many asignment now. Does anyone know any good writing class in HCM.City? I wanna find class with average tuition fee. Thanks

Well, I''ve heard of a writing course from my friend and just enrolled. Today is my first day. It seems to be nice with teachers from Humanity science University (sorry if it''s not a correct name). 6 days a week (Mon to Sat) , from 2:00 to 4:30.
And the fee is not very high 2.000.000d (it sounds expensive, but in fact, it''s appropriate for the time studying). Started on today, Mon Aug11th and will last for 5 weeks.
I hope you will join me. I ''ve never met a ttvn member in HCM and I think both of us are from HN. So looking forward to you .

I''m so sorry for my late reply. Do you think that 2.000.000 tuition fee for one writing class is expensive? Could you please introduce me another class? I think I will have to write many essay next semester, and I wanna find a wirting class. However, I don''t have time to study 6 days per week. Do you know any class in which I can study 3 days per week in evenings?

Don''t waste your time and money to take a writing class. The structure of an essay in English is quite similar to the one in Vietnamese that you have learned. You already knew how to write. You don''t need any extra writing class. However, you may need to work on your grammar and sentence structures. I believe that writing skill can be improved by regular practices. You may want to get started by writing a short paragraph everyday. For example, write a paragraph describing your favorite subject and why you like it.
When you feel comfortable with writing in English, depending on your field you may want to read a couple books on how to write effective argumentative essays, business letters, scientific papers or engineering reports.

Thanks for your advices. I know that my writing can be improved by practising. And I have to write many assignments every semester, my skill was improved. However, I think I can learn some techniques in writing class. It will help me write incisive essays.
Can you show me some good places where I can improve my writing skill???

Honestly I have no idea. Why don''t you post some of your essays here. I''m sure that you will get feedback from our friends in the forum.

Actually, I submited my asignments already because I have just finished my semester. I usually have no time to review the essays. Normally, my essays are based on strings of topics. We have to write many essays in semesters. Teachers do not care about grammar so much. What I want is incisive essays, to express my thoughts effectively.
Generally, they are writing but not essays. We write what we want, what we think, what we analyze from information that we have.... We have to write in every subject, so they are not just essay...
The example can be so long. Do you want to have a look at my writing? If you want, I will send it to you. The writing can be long, so I''m afraid of posting it here. People complain me?
