English Speaking CLub của tụi mình cũng bị như thế , nhưng mình tin là đây chỉ là bước khởi đầu thôi , " vạn sự khởi đầu nan " mà. Mình nghĩ bạn nên hợp tác với 1 English CLub của 1 trung tâm ngoại ngữ hay 1 trường đại học nào đó thì sẽ đông vui và dễ tổ chức hơn. Bên mình cũng đang hợp tác với 1 English Club của ĐH bách khoa đấy.

Hi everybody,
I have the same idea with Mr Votrungh@ and Fini@. I think we have to organize the club professionally. All members must pay a fee (something like member fee). With a good directory and cashier, I think the club will become stabilization and better.
Another thing I want to say is topic on club. The director will give a subject for everyone discuss when we meet together. It will have you improving your speaking skills. Further more, you will feel more confidence in face of the crowd.

In my opinion I think we have a lot of problems about redaction posted on box. First, the quantity of redaction posted on our mail box are too low. Moreover, content of redaction is so poor. Second, I donõ?Tt know exactly how many members our club have so that we hope every member should collect more redaction for our club. That mean we need more help from our member to rich English knowledge for everybody generalize and for us. Personally, I will try hard to collect more good redaction or contest and post it to the box.
Finally, I want to send a wish for our club that we will grow up this club as good as we can.
A grand new member of this clubõ?Ư

Nothing Impossible

The first thing to do to make SEC (Saigon English Club) better is interdict Vietnamese posts. Why we speak VNese in an English club? You should delete all VNese posts, only English posts are allowed. Fee ? You thing you can do that? We need a real club to do this, not an web base club! Hope SEC better, but pls don't speak VNese in SEC, admin &mod, pls! When we join this club, we all know how to speak English! We don't need a Vietnamese Speaking Club in an English Club! Do you thing so?

Many thanks for your contributed opinion.
You said that contents of articles posted in our Club are so poor. I agree with you just 50% . I accept that our club need more topics in order to make it variable and abundant. I do hope that you can help me to solve this problem, okie? However, I don't think our club don't have quality. Many topics in our Club can bring you a lot benefit in studying such as : Anything in English ( Mahars), What do you hate most in a boy, How do you think about American . In those topics, I suppose that you can learn a lot about writing skill 'cause many members in our Club have good writing skill ( Johntrung,p2p,TDHung, Mahars,Fini,Tao_lao ,etc.) and their articles usually have good quality. Beside, there some contests for you to practise your English : Contest of traslation, Test your English everyday, Puzzle ,etc. The topic : "trung tam ngoai ngu nao tot nhat thanh pho " is useful for you for choosing a school to study English . " English Poem" ( Tao_lao) is also a very good topic with many wonderful poems of Tao_lao and TDHung , with many profound knowledge of both of them about English Poems. I appreciate this topic indeed.
*****mmarize, I hope that you , Pickou, can help me to increase the quantity of articles everyday (in average, SG English Club ( SEC) has 8 articles per day ). Do you agree , my grand new member? And please never think that our club don't have quality.
P/s : I will inform you all about the member-fee after the meeting of SG English CLub Moderaters and Organizers then.

I'm grateful for your comment. But...please think about members whose English isn't good enough to read and understand all articles written in English . They just come here to improve their English step by step and by their way. They all think that it's actually a need to use Vietnamese in our CLub along with English. You should remember our Club is opened for everyone.

Absoutely agree with Di. I used to consider this matter in Hanoi EC. Finally, we use both English and Vietnamese in forum. When we discuss about one matter, we use English. But when when we just make friends or talk something for fun, Vietnamese is better coz it's easy for us to show our feeling.
To Di: I hope to share with you experience about EC.

Maybe I'm so stiff, but I still think that admin and mod should speak English, and we need to reduce VNese post, because I've seen that there are too much VNese post in SEC. I thing VNese jokes or VNese poems .... has themselves' boxes, why we speak about these thing in VNese? Yes I do agree SEC is opened for everyone, but to speak about English or speak in English, not to haver in VNese, right? Hope SEC better

In my opinion , I think we should speak English in every thing. If too hard for you, just ask somebody for help. That's all.

Nothing Impossible

Why don't we have an essay writing (not copying)contest here, in SEC. I thick it would be beneficial not only to those who can write good essays but also to those who don't know how to write them. We can have a new topic weekly or biweekly and essays are limited in a range of words depending on the topic.
