We will come to YEC to find down that what is Thanksgiving day. What do people usually do on that day?

Last week we got an interesting topic : "Love at first sight ".There were a lot of different opinions but in the end they split into 2 sides.One side doesn''t believe that love at first sight exists and It is hard to "love" someone without knowing anything about them, "Lust at first sight" is much more appropriate. The other side thinks love at first sight exists and it will last long .Besides that everybody agreed that men and women are equally in falling in love at first sight........
We kept talking talking and fightin'' each other until noon and finished with an awaited topic next week " Thanksgiving Day " Next week is all about the Thanksgiving Day ,history,culture,meals an so on.......

You will talk "thanksgiving" holiday . But I''m the first one announcing offically that today is "Thanksgiving day" Thursday November 27, 2008 . And I also know a piece of meaning of "TGD" , let me introduce a little :
"Thanksgiving, also known as Thanksgiving Day, is a harvest festival. Tra***ionally, it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general. It is primarily a North American holiday which has generally become a national secular holiday with religious origins.
The dates and whereabouts of the first Thanksgiving celebration are a topic of modest contention. Though the earliest attested Thanksgiving celebration was on September 8, 1565 in what is now Saint Augustine, Florida, the tra***ional "first Thanksgiving" is venerated as having occurred at the site of Plymouth Plantation, in 1621.
Today, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. Thanksgiving dinner is held on this day, usually as a gathering of family members. "
