    1. A good presentation I think tells the audience some things they didn''t know or some insights they didn''t have.
For the first, I try to find up-date, accurate data.
For the second, I look at the issue in a different way.
If I tell people what they already know, then what good are my presentation to them?
    2. I should have finished my presentation one day or two before, so I have time left to read through all material, get familiar with new words and practice delivering my speech fluently.

    3. If I''m going to draw something to illustrate my presentation, I use good-sized paper with color pens and write large capital letters and shapes so it looks less boring and helps furthest people see clearly.
    4. I stand sideways as much as I could, so everyone from left-hand side to right-hand side can see my illustration. A pointer is needed here.
    5. I manage to stand on/move around the stage in certain directions so that my ass never shows to the audience. Nothing worse than spending the whole time just for watching the speaker''s ass.

Today no one can refuse the role of presentation skill. As a part of speaking skill, it has been taught to students when they are in university, even in some high schools (like FLSS, or CNN in Vietnamese :D) However, I agree with Mr Dang that itâ?Ts such a long way to apply theory into practice. One more problem is, not everyone knows what apresentation skill concludes. Thatâ?Ts the reason why Iâ?Td like to share some basic knowledge below, itâ?Ts just theory from what Iâ?Tve learnt, but I think essential ;)
    - First is how to use your voice: - Articulation, chunking, stress, pacing, intonation, sound scripting
    - Second is some useful techniques : emphasis, focusing, softening, repetition
    - Third, how to deal with Questions: some tips often used.
    - Body language: information that Hurjun gave is quite good. Thanks for your support
In the evening Iâ?Tll post more details. Hope youâ?Tll enjoy this topic

Presentation skills sounds good ha Hadopr0, i think that most people are very interested in this topic. (Is this your first time of being an MC? This is a good chance for you to practise skills and it can be also considered as a preparation for MCs contest/ Public speaking contest ha )
From my personal point of view, i also want to share with you my experiences when making presentation. Since my first year at university, i had to make presentations. At that time it was disaster of mine! Oh my God, i am afraid of speaking English in front of a lot people. However, time has passed and i have learnt a lot of useful experience through my and my friends'''' presentations.
Rule 1: Prepare your talk contents well. Never think that i already know about it and there is no need to prepare. It is totaly wrong! Collect data carefully is very important.
Rule 2: Write down what you will talk in point form for you easy to remember. However, never look at it when you officially make presentation It will make you feel not confident and natural enough and prevent you from keeping good eye-contact with audience!
Rule 3: Practise it at least 4 times. Why?
First time for you to remember
Second time for you to make it fluently
Third time for you to practise your non-verbal language
Forth time for you to combine all the things and make it as smooth and sweet as you can
Rule 4: Remember to practise with two mirrows a big and a small one. Why?
Small one for you to see how your face, your eyes looks when speaking.
Big one for you to view your movevements, posture and guesture look when speaking.
    Non-verbal language is very important!
Rule 5: Prepare your visual aids (if any) well. Make it as interesting and eye-catching as much as you can but do not make it like a messy with too many colors. Slides, handout or lagre paper will help you to deliver your speech better because inllustration is a concise way to show your ideas clearly.
Rule 6: Holding a pen or pencil in your arm will help you keep calm. In ad***ion, i can become your pointer if needed
Rule 7: Smile when speaking. It does work effectively!
Oh man, too much words ha. Hope that you can find some useful information here.

    Golden Rule:
Following all those above... blindly make you and your blah-blah dull. Why? Simply those just look the same, sound the same and are boring in the same way he he...
Try to find what in you that others don''t have. Ask what your nature is? Feel your unique quality. Locate it. Bring it out. Say it like singing.
    Burn books!
    Write yours!
    Make difference!

    - All guys try to follow American accent, huh?
You don''t! You take African one. Or Russian one. Or French one.
    - All guys move around, keep eye contact, make joke sometimes, do silly things like watching mirrors, repeating like parrot 4 or 40 times... al that stuff, huh?
    You don''t!
You stand still whole time, talk like Pope talks about God.

Believe me, all those by-the-book guys do the same thing and turn themselves into the same boring moving objects.
    You don''t!
You must not be like that.
    You must not!

Do you think Tiger Woods was born to be a Golf World Champion?
Could Michael Phelps have made such wonders without basic training in swimming?
Is his talented feeling for the ball enough for Cristiano Ronaldo to freely do magic performance on the field?
True freedom is only achieved when you meet all rules in your own extremely enjoyable way.
Please consider the golden rule of Mr Dang seriously. I want it that way.
