GPS - Hệ thống định vị toàn cầu (phần II)

Cái này mới chỉ được gọi là 50 % của một hệ thống GPS thôi anh. Nó là cái Atenne GPS 16 kênh phát lên vệ tinh, loại này giao tiếp với PDA thông qua Bluetoothe, giá của nó ở EU xấp xỉ khoảng 80 - 100 ,. Loại dùng Slot CF Card thì rẻ hơn khoảng 40 - 60 ,.
50 % còn lại là PDA và Soft Navigation. Về Soft thì đứng đầu bây giờ là Tom Tom 5, tiếp đến Destinator 3...Em hiện đang dùng cả 2 thằng, nói chung nó chỉ đường Good lắm. Tuy nhiên có một điều bất lợi cho Asean và Việt Nam mình là em chưa thấy một hãng nào Map cho Việt Nam mình cả. Vậy thì làm sao dùng GPS để Navigation được.
Giải pháp dùng PDA làm Navigation tính ra ít tốn kém nhất (tính theo tính năng) vì nó có luôn chức năng PDA mà. Hình chạy giật hay không giật không thành vấn đề. Nó có một màn hình hiển thị hướng dẫn chiều dài, tên đường, ngách rẽ rất cụ thể...Gần đến nghách rẽ nó còn nói bằng Voice cho mình.

Có một bác có nick là BikerRay vì quá hâm mộ Ozi và Google Earth đã viết một ứng dụng nhỏ giúp chuyển đổi file *plt qua file *.kml. Cái này mà xem tracklog sau mỗi chuyến bay thì tuyệt.

Chào bạn, tôi chưa từng sử dụng SK-GPS140HR cũng như không biết ai đã từng sử dụng cái GPS engine này. Làm một cái search trên Google, tôi xin có vài nhận xét sau:
- Sản phẩm SK-GPS140HR là bản mạch và ăng ten, không có vỏ máy hay màn hình cũng keyboard, đòi hỏi người có tay nghề và hiểu biết mới sử dụng được. Các phần mềm cần phải tải về vậnp vào máy.
- Giá cả khá cao so với các máy hoàn chỉnh có cùng chức năng (500$). Sản phẩm này track 12 vệ tinh, không biết độ nhạy ra sao, thời gian fix nóng, nguội cũng không thấy đề cập.
Có lẽ bạn có lý do để chọn sản phẩm này, nếu có thể chúng ta có thể trao đổi tại đây để cùng nhau học hỏi.

Bây giờ đã có bản đồ MapKing V7 3D với bản đồ Tp. Hồ Chí Minh, có điều, bác nào mà đi theo nó thì sẽ bị bấm lỗ tai trên bằng lái đấy. Vì là nó ko có phân biệt đường nào là đường 1 chiều. Nhưng kể ra, nó vẫn rất văn minh .

To: GPS và mọi người
Trước hết mình xin cảm ơn những trả lời của GPS.
Về việc lựa chọn SK-GPS140HR không phải vì mục đích gì đặc biệt. Bộ nhận GPS này chỉ có mục đích là phục vụ việc học tập nghiên cứu trong trường đại học và hướng ứng dụng cho các ứng dụng thường thấy của bộ thu GPS như việc dẫn đường v.v..Có lẽ việc lựa chọn này cũng chỉ do tham khảo kinh nghiệm nào đó thôi.
Chính vì loại này hơi khác với những loại thường thấy được giới thiệu ở diễn đàn của chúng ta nên mình mới muốn hỏi kinh nghiệm của bạn GPS cũng như các thành viên khác.
Cũng vì điều đó nên nếu được trao đổi tại đây và cùng được các bạn góp ý thì đối với mình là rất tốt. Được bạn GPS nêu ra ý kiến ở trên nên mình cũng muốn trao đổi với tất cả mọi người về phương thức hoạt động và sử dụng bộ thu GPS này.

Có lẽ với mục đích để học tập và nghiên cứu, (một lĩnh vực ngoài tầm hiểu biết của gps), bạn đã chọn SK-GPS140HR là một mạch mở, có nhiều cơ hội thay đổi và can thiệp vào bên trong mạch. Tuy nhiên, có nhiều điều cần cân nhắc thêm:
- Giá cả quá cao 600$ cho board mạch và ăn ten trong khi các máy hoàn chỉnh bao gồm cả màn hình, bàn phím, firmware chỉ có giá 100-300 có tính năng tương đương: xuất tín hiệu NMEA, track 12 vệ tinh, có khả năng GPS vi sai.
- Độ nhạy (tính bằng đề xi ben) không được đề cập tới trong tài liệu của nhà sản xuất.
- Thời gian khởi động Time To First Fix (TTFF) cũng như hot, warm và cold start không được thể hiện trong tài liệu.

Thế để mình thử xem lại xem còn lựa chọn để mua nữa không. Chỉ sợ nó đã được lên danh sách để mua mất rồi (). (Hôm trước mình đã hăm hở tổng kết các kiến thức cùng các sản phẩm được giới thiệu ở đây, cứ tưởng sắp được sử dụng một con GPS receiver trông đẹp đẽ hoành tráng với LCD rồi bản đồ, màn hình mầu...Ai dè... Việc đặt mua sản phẩm gì không phải là việc của mình, nhưng việc tìm hiểu sản phẩm được mua về ấy lại là việc của mình! hix..hix...)

Gần đây em có đi rừng Nam Cát Tiên để kiếm cây, khi đó em mới biết tác dụng của GPS. May vào đây lại gặp các pác. Đọc bài của các pác em hiểu thêm nhiều về GPS. Vậy mong pác và các pác khác trả lời giúp em:
1. Con GPS bluetooth nói trên làm việc phải kết hợp với một máy PDA đúng không hay là các máy DTDD smartphone có bluetooth đều có thể kết hợp dùng được (VD: Con Nokia 6600). Nếu phải mua con PDA thì nên mua con nào (ngon, giá rẻ???????)
2. Nên mua một con GPS riêng (như con Gino mà các Pác hay nói) để kết nối với máy Laptop (em có một con laptop cu PIII 700) hay mua con GPS bluetooth.
Em thích con GPS bluetooth vì nó tiện dùng, nhưng lại sợ nó ko chuyên nghiệp, khó sử dụng...
Rất mong được sự chỉ giáo của các pác.

Sau chuyến đi Lào thì đã có một số lượng đáng kể máy thu GPS hiệu Rino của Garmin xuất hiện. Các bạn có thể dùng MapSource để nâng cấp bản đồ trong máy.
